Beautiful.

That was the first thought that crossed his mind upon their first meeting.

Park Bom was a beautiful woman. And day by day as he gradually knew her, he noticed that she was indeed an interesting person. She was an alien, much like the rumors he heard going on in the industry about her. Her attitude, her speech patter, her behavior was so weird yet cute at the same time. She had her quirks that he found so funny and cute and that’s what made it so attractive and interesting about her.

He saw Park Bom many times before, but that was in TV. She was a popular singer, so it was to be expected to see her face on television. Out of her fellow 2NE1 member, he met Chaerin once where they did a beer ad together. She was an easy person to get along to, and during the time that they filmed together, they talked a lot to ease the awkward tension since it was their first time working together. Chaerin talked a lot about her teammates and she said that Park Bom was an oddball in their group and every where she went to. And many people that had the chance to meet her and know her personally had been saying the same thing.

Dong Wook didn’t know how to explain it but for once in his lifetime, he felt so curious a woman he wished he could see her for himself. And the chance presented itself through the variety show that he joined which was called Roommate. He was excited to be in the show and when he heard that Park Bom also was going to be in the show, he thought that that he finally was going to meet her and see what made her tick.

It was late at night when he finished filming for that day. And it was the first day that he would be moving into the house with others for Roommate. He had in mind that he was the last person to move in and thought that everybody else must had already been deep in slumber. But he was proven wrong when he encountered Bom an hour later when he was on his way to the shoe rack. He didn’t expect that. It was so sudden that his heart skipped a beat at the sight of her. He was momentarily stunned but quickly composed himself and descended the stairs to greet her.

“Hello,” she greeted with a warm smile. “I’m 2NE1 Park Bom.” He could see a white fluffy doll was clutched tightly in her arms as she bowed to him.

“Hello. I’m actor Lee Dong Wook,” he greeted back with a charming smile of his own. There was an awkward moment pass through them and they both couldn’t help but laugh at the slight tension in the air.

He helped her move her luggage upstairs after he put his shoes in the rack. After that, he left her to get settled in since it was already late. He thought that they could have a talk tomorrow to get acquainted.

He returned to his room to prepare for bed but after a while, a loud barking caught his attention. Even Seho who had been sleeping soundly was startled by the loud bark, waking him from his slumber.

“What’s that?” Seho groggily asked as he sat up on his bed, looking at him through squinted eyes.

“I don’t know,” he said. “Is there a dog in this house?” He wondered out loud.

“Aah…It must be Giselle,” Seho said.

“Giselle?”

“It is Sora noona’s dog. She’s in Room number one,” Seho supplied the information.

“Room number one? Park Bom just entered that room a while ago,” Dong Wook said to him.

“Park Bom?” Seho exclaimed in excitement. All trace of sleepiness disappeared from his face. “She’s here?”

Dong Wook nodded in conformation. “Yeah. I met her a while ago when she arrived,” he informed. “I’m going to check up on the noise.”

“Wait up, I’m going with you,” Seho quickly get up from the bed and followed Dong Wook out the door.

“Aren’t you tired and sleepy?” Dong Wook looked at his roommate suspiciously.

“I’m wide awake now,” Seho countered, making Dong Wook snickered at the comedian who couldn’t hide the eagerness on his face at the prospect of meeting the singer.

As they reached the living room, Dong Wook saw Bom exited her room looking startled and greeted the two of them.

“Hello, I’m Park Bom,” she greeted Seho and offered him her hand. “Nice too meet you.”

“Hello, I’m Seho. Nice to meet you too,” the comedian greeted back shaking hands with her.

Bom turned to Dong Wook and greeted him once again shaking hands with him. He couldn’t help but notice how small and smooth her hand was. And he felt a tingling reverberated throughout his body when they touched, but he suppressed that feeling down. He didn’t want her to look at him weirdly. In the end, he and Seho ended up helping her moved her luggage inside the room so that she could get settled faster. She must be really tired since it was already late at night. They moved the luggage inside without making any sound, afraid of waking up Sora and Gayeon who was sleeping.

“Is this your Cola?” Seho asked, noticing the bottles of Cola in her slightly opened bag.

Dong Wook felt like slapping the comedian on his head. Of course it was her Cola. Who else could it be since it was in her bag?

Aish… This kid really is something, he thought silently.

“Yes,” Bom affirmed. “Please take one,” she offered.

“No its okay,” Seho refused.

“It’s okay, please take one,” he heard Bom said cutely.

Dong Wook couldn’t help but laughed at the funny interaction between Seho and Bom.

After receiving two bottles of Cola from the 2NE1 main singer, Dong Wook dragged Seho to return to their room and leave Bom on her own device to unpack or sleep. Honestly, behind the cheerful smile she gave them, Dong Wook noticed the weariness on her face that she tried to conceal. She looked like she was about to fall asleep right on her feet from the way she looked.

So he thought that it was best to leave her be for the night even when he personally wanted to talk to her more.
