One day, Ash Ketchum was with some of his friends and he wanted to race with all of them if who could get the most pokemon in 1 day. Ash believed that he could get 10 pokemon in 1 day. He is racing with Brock, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, and Misty. Ash's friends normally accompanied Ash but this was a 1v1 race for everyone so that means no teaming allowed. Misty was determined that she was going to win, Clemont was just busy trying to fix one of his new inventions which was called the pokemon attractor, Brock was busy making treats that could attract pokemon to come to you when they smelt it, Serena was just staring at Ash as usual because she had a crush on him and Bonnie was looking in her pokedex for cute pokemon. They have 24 hours to find at least 5 pokemon!

"Time starts NOW!" yelled Ash. Everyone splited up into different areas. They already had their own pokemon like Ash had his pikachu, but they don't count in the race. The first person to find a pokemon was Brock. Right now he is trying to catch a Cranidos he found in Pewter City. Guess what! He managed to catch it. Brock now has 1 pokemon and everyone else still has 0 pokemon. Misty was the next to find a pokemon. She was trying to catch a piplup and she managed to get it. "Woohoo my first pokemon!" Said Misty in excitement. Now everyone is still on 0 except Brock and Misty because they are both one 1.

Bonnie and Serena bumped into each other. Have you caught any pokemon yet? Said Bonnie. "No not yet, how about you?" I'm not getting any luck either." Replied Serena. Next they went off into the opposite directions. Ash is getting a little frustrated because he hasn't caught one yet. Brock caught another pokemon, it was machamp he was soooo happy he caught it because machamp can be really strong and tough!

It's been 6 hours and their has been a change. Brock has 4, Misty has 2, Bonnie has 2, Serena has 3, Clemont has 2 and Ash has 0. Ash can't believe he hasn't even caught 1 pokemon yet, he is so puzzled??? "I thought has would be on 5 by now." Said Brock. "I agree" said everyone."I wonder what's going on with Ash he isn't having much luck." Said Misty. "That's what I'm thinking too???" Said everyone. Then off the went to catch more pokemon.  "I'm have to find some POKEMON!" yelled Ash angrily.

Finally Ash found a pokemon it was a mankey. Ash kept on fighting will all his pokemon. Guess what he didn't catch it. Ash was so frustrated he wanted to give up right now. "picka picka (don't give up)." said pikachu "Thanks pikachu." said Ash. Clemont caught an electrode. He wanted to see what type of attracted code he was as we'll as using him for pokemon battles. They continuously caught pokemon! But guess what, Ash didn't...

Time past, it's been 15 hours now and Ash still hasn't caught a pokemon yet. "WHAT IS GOING ON!!!" ash yelled angrily. Everyone has 7 pokemon except Brock, he had 8 now. Brock caught a pokemon named Geodude. He was a fan of rock pokemon a lot and Misty is a fan of water pokemon. AMAZING so many favourite types of pokemon and elements. Everyone was still confused that Ash hasn't found a pokemon yet... " Something's really wrong." Said Brock. " I agree." said Misty. "I wonder why." Said Serena.

Its been 22 hours and mostly everyone was tired. But everyone still tried to catch pokemon. Especially Ask of course. With still no pokemon that he caught today on him. Ash has ran into a lot of pokemon but just hasn't been catching them??? Ash felt frustrated and disappointed to himself. He wanted to try harder but he already did, there was nothing else left for him to do. But he still tried. Ash isn't the person that gives up so easily, he is the person that will continuously try hard until he is determined that he done his best.

Now it has been 23 hours and 31 minutes. Everyone was rushing to meet at the lobby which was the spawn point. Even though Ash hasn't even found one he is still going to the lobby. BOOM! Suddenly a big ruckus was coming to Ash. He thought it was team rocket but when he looked clearly............ IT WAS A WHOLE LOAD OF POKEMON STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM! "!WOW!" Said Ash in amazing excitement. Maybe I will have luck after all.

This time guess what, he caught 12 pokemon. Ash was amazed with his little amount of pokemon and little amount of time he managed to catch enough pokemon. Ash knew he wouldn't of won. When he checked his watch there was only 19 minutes left, so that means it has been 23 hours and 41 minutes left. Time was going fast, until Ash just got there in time.

Everyone was amazed that Ash had won. Ash didn't believed he won either. Neither did professor Oak in just little amount of time left. Ash won a badge for great performance and never giving up. So at the end all of the candidates went to Ash's house to hear about the story of how Ash caught 12 pokemon in less then an hour. The End!
