A MESSAGE

I don't entirely know why I'm doing this. But I've seen it around so I thought 'why not?'. Actually, that's not true. My reason for doing this is simple. It's a way for me to reach you before you step a foot into this roleplay. I'm going to start by being honest on multiple accounts. First, I know this may not appeal to you visually. But I don't think you should let that stop you. You shouldn't judge a book by its' cover and sometimes you gain the best of friends from someone (or somewhere) you least expect it from. Next, I'm not an amazing writer (if you can't tell already), so a lot of this will seem weird, awkward and most likely boring - ahead of time, I'm sorry! But anyway - finally. I know I've had my moments where I've  been in a roleplay and just felt like it was going no where. That I wasn't having fun. That I wasn't liked there. But here's what I'm going to tell you. On my very first aff roleplay, and one I'm still currently in, I have had the most fun, the most memories, the best laughs and made some amazing friends from it. But I've also learned heartache, emotions, how life can tear people apart. It's saddening. But here I am. Opening a roleplay. Why? Because those happy moments are worth ten trillion times more than the sad ones. Because of each person I've encountered, I've felt more alive than I could express. It makes me happy to be in a roleplay, and even more so when it's active. Being active isn't a chore, or a job - it should be something you want to do. You should want to come on here. We should try to make it fun for each other. I'm not saying to go around and start large scale drama or other rated things. I'm saying laughing. Jokes, puns or even sweet and kind things that make the reader go "aww...". It's intriguing how everyone one of us who's been in a roleplay can tell you the ups and downs of it all. Well if we can do that, can't we take it a step further and try to create and improve a roleplay continuously? I want just that. Sure. I'm an admin. I've admined a couple of roleplays - one for just over a year, running on a year and a half. But that doesn't mean I know everything. I'm still very new to everything - and I'd like to continue to learn from those around me. Which brings me to you.

You have the power to make a difference. I'm not saying this to be corny - I'm saying this because it's true. There are times when a person is having a bad day. Or they're finding themselves falling out of touch with a roleplay. I've had this. But there is that one person - that one person who they think they can't leave because. Because they sincerely enjoy that person that much. They make them smile and light up. They make them want to come on. So, I'm asking you. Imploring you. To take this opportunity (if you join) and be that person. I'm not saying you have to be the nicest or bubbliest person on the planet. I'm saying to create memories, make friends and everlasting ties with each other people here.
