The first time it happens, it's 2AM and Sungyeol can't sleep.

He stares at the glow-in-the-dark stars taped to the ceiling above him and blinks. He screws his eyes shut, forcing drowsiness to come because he needs his rest if he wants to survive a whole day of packed schedules tomorrow, but all that does is hurt his eyes. Rolling over, he pokes his head off his top bunk and peeks at Howon below him, then at Sungjong sleeping on the other side of the room. He sighs, deciding to just get himself a glass of water and maybe some of those sleeping pills they keep on the highest cupboard in the kitchen.

He makes his way down his bed carefully, making sure not to wake any of his room mates before quietly slipping out of the room. His socked feet make soft padding sounds as he goes straight to the kitchen. Taking a glass cup from the rack, he pours himself a glass of water and grabs the bottle of pills from the top cupboard. It's a little too high--his hand slips a little and grabs something else instead, and Sungyeol cringes as a pack of ramyun falls to the ground with a loud crinkle of plastic.

Seconds later Woohyun is in the doorway rubbing his eyes and making his way to one of the kitchen stools. "Why are you taking the pills?" Woohyun asks as he turns his head to Sungyeol, his words almost incoherent through a yawn.

"I couldn't sleep," Sungyeol says, shrugging. He takes a seat next to Woohyun and pushes a glass of water towards him. "How bout you? Why are you awake?"

"Sunggyu hyung snores," the older replies, taking a sip of the water Sungyeol offered.

Sungyeol laughs at this because Woohyun says that with a small pout. "Do you want some of the sleeping pills too, then?"

Woohyun shakes his head no and pulls Sungyeol closer instead, so he could rest his head on the taller's shoulder. "You should stop drinking coffee before bed, you know."

Woohyun is yawning and because yawning is contagious Sungyeol does, too. "Hyung, go back to your room if you're sleepy."

"But I want to stay with you."

Sungyeol rolls his eyes and flicks Woohyun's forehead lightly. "It's too early for your grease." Woohyun's arm is wrapped around his and there's a small smile tugging at Sungyeol's lips (he'll never admit it).

When Sungyeol's is sore from sitting on the hard kitchen stool, they stumble into the living room and sit side by side on the couch. Woohyun is snuggling up against Sungyeol and normally Sungyeol would shove him off, but he doesn't. ("It's just because I didn't have enough sleep.") Woohyun pushes Sungyeol down on the cushion and makes him lie down so he could sleep on the taller's chest. Sungyeol rolls his eyes again but lets Woohyun get his way.

A few minutes later--"Hyung are you asleep? Go to bed hyung."

Woohyun grumbles and Sungyeol chuckles, pushing the other off him as gently as he can. Woohyun looks at him, his face worried, and asks, "What about you? You aren't sleeping much these days."

"I don't know," he shrugs.

"Should I cuddle you more?" Woohyun says, a grin on his face and crinkles by the sides of his eyes. It's a teasing question, but Woohyun drapes himself over Sungyeol anyway and the other hadn't even been given a moment to reject him.

So he just sort of lets him.

The next morning, Sungyeol wakes up in the couch, draped in a blanket and feeling well rested for the first time in a few days. He rubs his eyes and stretches his arms, blinking when he notices that Woohyun wasn't there. Sungyeol stands and goes off to wash his face, not awake enough to be bothered to look for Woohyun and surprised that Sunggyu wasn't shouting orders at anyone just yet.

When he finishes washing up, Woohyun's voice is ringing from the kitchen and there's that little smile forcing its way into Sungyeol's face again as he follows the said voice. "Good morning, Yeollie~" Woohyun is all smiles and looking so ing cute in that apron can I pocket him please and Sungyeol just stands there and tries to keep his hands from just grabbing Woohyun and petting him.

"Hmm, that smells good," he says instead. "Where are the others?

"Asleep."

"Why?" Sungyeol raises an eyebrow as he moves closer to where Woohyun is working to dip a finger in the chocolate batter on the counter.

"Because they're not awake...?" there's a stupid grin on Woohyun's face as he chuckles at his own stupid sarcasm--the one that makes Sungyeol really annoyed.

"Really, Woohyun?" Sungyeol rolls his eyes and smacks the older's shoulder--not hard enough to hurt but hard enough to make his point. Woohyun winces and instinctively moves away from him before smacking Sungyeol back. They glare at each other for a moment until Woohyun turns back to his pancakes.

"Something came up at the company last night. Manager hyung told us to stay put until further notice." Sungyeol frowns.

"What happened? Something bad? Is Jungyeop hyung-nim okay? What about our schedules?"

Woohyun makes a non-commital shrug. "He's okay; he called this morning. I don't think it's big, but they cancelled all our schedules for today."

"Oh. I see." Sungyeol nods, sitting on the counter. "Wanna hang out, then?"

The second time it happens Sungyeol had washed up and was already dressed in his pajamas right after their schedules ended, but didn't really go to bed.

Woohyun wakes up to the sounds of the television with the volume turned really low and Sungyeol watching a Reply 1994 rerun. He plants his right next to Sungyeol's on the couch and grins lazily at the other.

"Having problems sleeping again, Yeol?" Sungyeol nods and Woohyun smiles, patting his lap--a gesture asking the taller to lay his head down on it. Sungyeol doesn't know why he did it but two seconds later his head is on Woohyun's lap and Woohyun is carding his fingers through his hair. They stay like that for a while until the episode ends and Woohyun's eyes are red. Sungyeol sits up and tells him to go sleep for the nth time.

"I'll sleep after you."

"I don't sleep because I'm not sleepy," Sungyeol frowns at him. "You're tired, hyung. Go rest."

"You? You're not tired?" Woohyun retorts.

"I--I can deal with it."

"No, no, you're tired too--" There's a finger to Woohyun's lips, shushing him, and a hand on his waist pulling him closer to Sungyeol.

"Hyung, sleep."

And so he does.

The third time, Sungyeol is awake but not up, just staring at the wall. The clock reads 1:49 AM. He doesn't want to get up tonight--Woohyun might wake up again and lose precious hours of sleep because of him. He's hugging a pillow to his chest when his phone vibrates rather obnoxiously from somewhere. Sungyeol feels around for it in the darkness and finds it almost falling off his bunk, grabbing it before it made a suicide attempt.

It's a Kakao Talk message from Woohyun. "Hey, you asleep yet?"

Sungyeol frowns before typing up a reply. "Yes. Go to sleep."

"I want to sleep with you."

"No."

"But Gyu hyung snores!" there's a sticker of a pouting bear attached and Sungyeol almost giggles because he can totally imagine Woohyun doing that face and whining.

"Haha deal with it I don't really care :P"

The reply takes a minute and twenty-one seconds (not that Sungyeol counted) and says--"I'm coming over".

Sungyeol freaks.

Less than two minutes later Woohyun is climbing up his bunk and Sungyeol is thankful that none of his room mates were light sleepers because that would've made it awkward...er.

His bed is small and it's cramped but obviously Woohyun didn't mind as much as Sungyeol did, because his arms are immediately draped over Sungyeol's torso and his left leg is thrown over the other's hip. Woohyun is nuzzling Sungyeol's neck and it tickles but he doesn't mind it now, too, because Woohyun looks so ing adorable that his desire to keep him in his pocket gets bigger.

"You're so warm," Woohyun mumbles and nuzzles him deeper and Sungyeol's stomach tumbles in what he thinks is a good way. And then his hands are wrapped around Woohyun too and he sleeps like a baby for the next few hours because Woohyun is warm too.

The fourth time, it's Sungyeol climbing onto Woohyun's bed.

"Hyung, Sungjong sleeps with his eyes half open--it's creepy." Woohyun chuckles and pulls the other close to him, petting his hair.

"Mm, he's just tired."

"It's really scary--but funny at the same time!" Woohyun laughs and tells him to go to sleep. Sungyeol doesn't even object and just wraps his arms around Woohyun. (Sungyeol realizes that he sleeps better when Woohyun is around. Woohyun thinks he does too, because Sungyeol is always warm.)

("You're my sleeping pill," Sungyeol says sleepily one night when he climbs into Woohyun's bed. Woohyun thinks that's just as greasy as one of his cheesy lines, but he sort of likes it.)

Heyyooooo sleepy cuddly wooyeol hehehehehe ok i hope i did not disappoint bc wooyeol is totes perf ok? Ok.
