You know when you notice you have a paper cut hours after you’ve gotten it and suddenly something that went unnoticed becomes the most painful noticeable thing in your life? Sometimes people are like unnoticed paper cuts, never noticing them until it’s entirely too painful to bear anymore. Some days it feels like someone has poured salt water into your wound and other it’s almost like they are full healed and no longer ailing you. People are like that too.
