Happy Birthday

Minrae opened her eyes, feeling nauseous. She felt a sharp pain in her head, and suddenly remembered everything that happened in her dream, 

“I’m different… “ she thought. She examined the whole room, Hansol had his head at the side of her bed, sleeping, and Nakta was sleeping on the couch that was also in her room.  She remembered Minkyung and the others, even if she felt so weak and helpless, she gathered all her strength to stand up and go find them.

She opened the door and found Gohn and Xero sleeping infront of her door, “What are they doing here? “ she asked, she silently walked out of her room, being careful not to wake them up.

She walked towards the guest room, where MinMin, Yohyun and Jaemin are staying, she carefully opened the door and saw how peaceful they were sleeping on their beds, while she also saw 4 figures laying on the floor, Bjoo, Hojoon, Seogoong and Jenissi. She walk to the other room, their supply room(hehe) and got blankets and covered them up, 

She walked to the next room and saw Minki and Minjung resting, while Yano and Atom were hugging each other on the floor, and she also gave them a blanket, “How adorably disturbing” she thought and chuckled, 

While walking to Heerin’s room, she suddenly felt frustrated, they lied to her. She lived with them for 18 years thinking that she was part of the family, a real part of a family, but no, She wasn’t.

An adopted forbidden child, she labeled herself. A tear fell from her eyes, she laughed, “How weak of me. They aid I’m powerful and yet here I am, crying because I couldn’t take the fact that I’m not a real Kim. “ 

She reached for Heerin’s doorknob and opened it, she saw Minkyung and Heerin laying on one bed, “Oh they’re forever sleepyheads. “ 

Minkyungs’ arms were hugging Heerin and Heerins’ legs were locking with Minkyungs. She smiled at the scene, Her two adorable sisters, who took care of her even when they knew that she wasn’t their own. She fixed the blanket and tucked Heerin and Minkyung to sleep, comfortably of course. 

She then saw Pgoon and Kidoh on the couch, sleeping. She took a blanket in Heerins cabinet and covered them up, 

She went downstairs, feeling depressed and unwanted. She then saw Sangdo looking at her while she takes the stairs to the first floor, “ Ah, You’re finally awake. “ He smiled in relief,

Of all the TD members, it was Sangdo who couldn’t sleep, no matter what he does. “ Oppa, why are you awake? “ she asked, It was 3am in the morning, “ To greet you of course. “ He took out a cupcake with a candle on the center, he snapped his fingers and the candle lit in a blue flame, Minrae gasped, “ Are you… “

“ Like you? Am I different like you? “ He said, he took 4 steps forward and she met his gaze, “ You’re not the only one different in this house right now. “ he chuckled,

“Now, blow the candle. “ he commanded, She did what she was told, she made a wish, “I wish that if the wake up, they won’t hate me for what I am. “ she blew the candle and smiled, weakly

“Happy Birthday, Minrae. “ he patted her head and smiled, “ now, do you want to ask me anything? “ he sat on the couch and patted the space next to him, gesturing Minrae to stil beside him, she sat down and lowered her head,

“ You know what I am, do you? “ she asked

He smirked, “ We all do, “ she looked at him, quite confused, “ Me, Toppdogg, Bap, Minki, Minjung, Jaemin, Minmin, Yohyun… “ He looked at her and smiled softly, “ Your sisters know too. “ 

She was breathless, Everyone knew but her. “ You were scared weren’t you? You thought that when they wake up, they will all be scared of you. “ he chuckled, “ What’s funny? “

“ Minrae, when you see what we can all do, You’ll be the frightened one. “ he stood up and went to the kitchen, “ Ah they’re awake.. “ he whispered, enough for Minrae to hear, she got nervous, she didn’t know what to do.

Eros and Eris told her the truth, everything. Everything but the fact that everyone in that house has powers and are willing to die for her.

She was sitting there, with her head lowered, thinking of possibilities that might happen, she was scared that she might hurt them, (but lets face it, we all know she can’t LOL)

While sitting down, she saw Hansol sitting on the floor infront of her, his hand wrapped around her waist and his head resting on her lap, “ You’re safe, thank goodness “ he mumbled, Minrae was frozen, this was the first time a guy was this close to her, 

“ O-oppa……” She managed to say, Hansol looked up at her and smiled, “ Hm? “ he asked, 

“ YAH KIM HANSOL!!! “ 

They both looked at Heerin, running to their direction, all flamed up and irritated by the fact that a guy was being too damn close to her beloved sister, Hansol then ran away and left Minrae and Heerin there, they both looked at each other, no one dared to talk

The other girls were overlooking the scene upstairs, while Minkyung found herself sitting on the stairs, relieved that her sister was safe and awake, TD on the other hand were still sleeping, except Sangdo Hansol, Kidoh,Jenissi and Pgoon, who were also watching form the 2nd floor of the house

Heerin reached out to touch Minrae’s face, her face was cringing, she was trying not to cry, but she did anyway.

She hugged Minrae and snugged herself at the 18 year old girls neck, “You’re awake “ she cried, Minkyung walked towards them and hugged Minrae as well, while tears were falling from her eyes, 

They were both acting like babies seeing their mommy again, “ Miraeee!~ “ Minkyung cried, Minrae was just laughing at the same time crying, “ You both look ugly now. “ She managed to say in between her sobs of joy

As if  cue  the girls ran downstairs and hugged Minrae, suffocated her at least, “ Raeee!!!~ “ 

And boom, all their Aegyo went out, “ You scared uuus!~ “ “ Eonnie missed you!~ “ 

TD on the other hand chuckled at the cuteness, “ And we all thought their scary “ Kidoh stated, Jenissi and Pgood on the other hand chuckle with their face painted red, they were blushing!

TD members went down and tried to calm all the feels down, Jenissi patted Yohyuns head, and she suddenly hugged him, he froze, he stopped his breathing and his eyes shot open, “ Crap Crap! She’s hugging me! Damn she’d hear my heart! Crap! What the heck?! “ he thought, but happy Yohyun heard his heart, “ Oh this simple minded Oppa “ she kept on burying her face on his chest, teasing him, she chuckled lightly.

Pgoon was lightly rubbing Heerins back, she was having problems catching her breath, and then the hiccups came. Heerin looked at Pgoon, he was staring at her, “How creepy.. “ she thought,

She pouted and rubbed her eyes while looking at him, she thought of the things TD members did for Minrae for the past hour while they were in huge pain and couldn’t move an inch, “ T-thank you for keeping her safe, and thank you for not taking advantage and for not taking Minrae away from us while we were too damn weak to move, Sehyuk---oppa…” she said, lowering hear head, “ Crap this is embarrassing “ she thought.

Pgoon covered his mouth with the back of his palm(can you imagine that? No? okay, sorry) and looked away, “She called me oppa, crap… “ he blushed.

“You look ugly, stop crying. “ Kidoh said, both his hands on his pockets while standing infront of Minkyung, who was sitting in the couch “ You’re such a heartless je—“ Minkyung froze.

Kidoh squatted infront of her to meet her eye level and kissed some of her tears away. “Shoot! he kissed me!!!!!!!!!!!! “ She said, her heart raised a hundred times faster while Kidoh looked away, “ I am a jerk, But I’m not heartless, you know “ he mumbled, enough for Minkyung to hear

“ Oh lovers.. “ Sangdo said, MinMin chuckled and the others cringed because of the cheesiness  of their eonnies. 

After that lovey-dovey moments of the timids(TD) and the insensitive(the girls), they were more than willing to fix a super early breakfast for the others, but of course, its Kidoh, Yohyun, Jenissi and Minkyung who were the cooks, Pgoon and Heerin were just going to fix the table for 21 people

The other girls woke the sleeping TD members while Hansol and Minrae went out to have some air.

“ Yah, “ Minmin called, kicking Seogoong and Hojoon to wake them up, She grabbed their blankedt and threw it away, Seogoong groaned while Hojoon stood up with sleepy eyes and bed hair, MinMin chuckled, “ugly oppas” she thought

Minjung was poking Yano’s face to wake him up, but he grabbed her hand and smelled it, (creepy, I know HHAHA) He opened his eyes and smiled, “Morning!” he greeted, Minjung pulled her hand and stood up, restless, “ U-uh.. Breakfast is r-ready! “ She stuttered and ran out of the room, While Atom and Minki were walking together downstairs. “ You cried? “ Atom asked, Minki just nodded, “ Tears of joy, of course “ She replied, He just smiled and messed her hair up. Xero then slapped his hand away and glared at him.

Jaemin was walking while rubbing her eyes, same goes for Hojoon, they accidentally bumped into each other but Jaemin was the only one how fell, “ I thought you were strong? “ He said bluntly, and reached out to help Jaemin stand up, she grabbed his hand and pulled him down as well, she stood up and laughed at Hojoon who was on the floor, “ I thought you were smart? “ she said and happily walked downstairs.

They all went to the dining area and saw a bunch of food served in front of them, the cakes they bought for Minrae. “ It’s her birthday after all “ Heerin used her powers to attach the “Happy Birthday Minrae” banner, and some of the girls collected the scattered balloons and decors in the house and placed them all in the dining area, 

“ Minrae, Do you know everything now? “ Hansol asked while kicking some of the dried leaves in the backyard, she smiled weakly, she nodded “ the fact that I’m not ordinary and the fact that you’re like me, Son of Erobus? “ She smiled, hansol just chuckled, “ You know that too huh? “ She just nodded,

“ You’re the only one who knows… “ he said, “ I was sent to TDs kingdom by my father, well that God of shadows. He said that I’ll find my purpose one day “ He smiled and looked at Minrae who had her head low while she was playing with the leaves, “ I guess I already have… “ He mumbled, Minrae looked at him and smiled, her heart was fluttering for a moment when their eyes met, suddenly the huge tree planted in their back yard, turned pink, “a cherry blossom tree? “ they both thought.
