He was just staring at me. With a blank expression, he was just breathing and starting at me like I didn’t even say anything to him. His action offended me and scared me at the same time. I thought he’d be happy and I expected him to jump and then kiss me repeatedly and then he would thank me for giving him a family he’s always wanted.

“You’re pregnant?” he asked

“Yes” I faintly answered, “I thought you wanted kids, Kyu?” I bit my lower lip

He looked at me again with the blankest expression, “How long?” he asked

“Two weeks, Kyu” I spoke, “Kyu, I thought you’d be happy about this?”  

He swallows, “Babe, I am! It’s just that I thought you and I talked about having kids at the age of twenty?” he took my waist and pulled me closer

“What, you want me to postpone my pregnancy until I’m twenty?” I snapped at him

“Babe, that’s not what I meant. I just thought that we had a plan and I know you’re not ready for this that’s why we settled an agreement” he spoke

I stood up and looked at him the angriest expression, “Okay! I’m sorry if I didn’t comply with the agreement, Kyu!”I raised my hands in defeat

“Min Ri, I’m happy about the child I—“ “I don’t want to hear your explanation! I get it! Should I get an abortion?” I crossed my arms over my chest

He chuckles, “They say pregnant women have mood swings” he spoke and stood up, “Babe, I want to have this baby with you, trust me. What made you think otherwise?” he asked

“Your expression” I pointed out

“Babe, I was just shocked, I mean I didn’t expect this to happen all of a sudden” he pointed out

I pushed his chest hard, “Kyu, do you want me to get an abortion?! Because I won’t do it! I’d rather get a divorce!” I pushed on his chest

He took a hold of my wrist, “Babe, I don’t want that! I would never want that!” he spoke. He pulled my wrist and then I was trapped in his chest and I inhaled his addicting scent

He placed me on his lap and he cradled me in his arms, “Babe, you made me the happiest man on earth today” he kissed my chest

“You looked scared”

“Shocked would be the correct word” he chuckled, “Babe, you’re going to be a great mother” he spoke

I bit my lower lip, “I’m not sure about that. Has it ever occurred to you that this kid might not just be one kid? Twins? Triplets?” I pointed

He chuckles, “Not really but now that you’ve mentioned it, should we buy a bigger house?” he joked

I playfully punched his chest, “Kyu, I’m dead serious about this. This is no joke!” I scolded

“Babe, I know that!” he chuckled, “I’m just giving you options” he spoke

“Kyu . . . I’m so scared” I clung onto his neck tighter

“Don’t be, babe” he started caressing my hair, “I’ll be next to you. I’ll be here to help you. It’s you and me, ok?” he kissed my temple

I snuggled against his neck and smelled his scent, “Thank you” I spoke

“No, thank you” he smiled

I suddenly thought of something, “Kyu, I’m pregnant. Which means no . . . you know” I bit my lip and giggled

He placed me on the bed, with him on top of me. He buried his face in the crook of my neck and started kissing me there, “I know. Don’t remind me” he spoke ily

I giggled, “I’m only two weeks pregnant, so . . . we still have a little over what, three or four months until I’m not really allowed to like have with you” I spoke, pulling on his hair

“We better start now”

We made love that whole afternoon in the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living room, and in the entertainment room. Then, Kyuhyun and I decided to take a shower together after an exhausting four-hour activity. I was sitting on the bed and I was staring at my phone. I wanted to tell my parents that I was pregnant, but I placed myself in my father’s shoes. Sure, I was married and I was more than welcome to get pregnant, but just simply thinking about it, I was only eighteen. I know they’d be surprised about it and my mom was actually waiting for it and I know my dada was, too. Still, hesitation flooded through my veins.

“Babe?” Kyuhyun stepped out of the bathroom in his oh-so-y wife beater and boxers

“Yeah?” I smiled weakly and he sat down beside me

“What are you doing?” he asked

“I want to call my parents” I spoke

He took my phone and unlocked it, “Call them”

I looked at him, “Kyu, I would if I could”

“Are you scared?” he asked, opening his legs and he pulled me against his chest so that I can rest my head against it.

“So scared”

“Babe, don’t be. As far as I know, you’re more than expected to pregnant and I thought your mom was looking forward to a grandson or granddaughter?” he added

“I know . . . It’s just that . . .” I trailed off

“I’ll call her” Kyuhyun started dialling my mom’s number

After five or six rings, my mom picks up, “Ne?”

“Annyeong, omma” Kyuhyun greeted

“Oh! Kyuhyun! Annyeong!” my mom greeted

“Omma” I started      

“Ne?”

“I . . . have to tell you something”

“Honey, can you speak up, I can’t hear you, I’m at a fashion show”

“I-I’M PREGNANT” I spoke

“What? Can you say that again, dear?”

“Omma, Min Ri’s pregnant”

“Oh I thought you w--- SHE’S WHAT!?”

“I’m pregnant” I repeated

“OH MY GOD! I’M GOING TO HAVE GRAND CHILDREN! CONGRATULATIONS!” she cheered

I bit my lip and smiled, “Ne, omma!”

“Does your father know about this?” she asked happily

Kyuhyun breathed in and so did I, “Ani”

“Wae? Your father must know about this!” she spoke

“I’ll tell him. Soon”

“Honey, call him when he lands from Hong Kong, okay? I’ll visit you and Kyuhyun as soon as fashion week is over” she spoke

“Okay”

Kyuhyun and I were lying in bed, with our bodies entwined and our breaths audible. Kyuhyun’s fingers played with my hair and I drew shapes on his chest. Kyuhyun and I were thinking and thinking of how our future would turn out to be. I thought of what Kyuhyun looked like if he carried an infant in his arms.

“Kyu---“ “YAH CHO KYUHYUN! MIN RI!” someone banged on our front door

Kyuhyun and I quickly stood up and walked up to the front door. Kyuhyun unlocked the door and it revealed his brothers with boxes in their hands.

“Min Ri! YOU’RE PREGNANT!?” they asked in unison

I smiled and Kyuhyun held my wiast, “I am” I smiled again

“CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!” they hugged me and Kyuhyun was all over them

“Hyung! Be careful! She’s pregnant!” Kyuhyun warned

Siwon took me other his shoulders and shouted, “MIN RI’S PREGNANT!”

“Hyung! Put her down now!!!!” Kyuhyun scolded but no one listened

“WE’RE GOING TO HAVE LITTLE VERSIONS OF THEM RUNNING AROUND THE HOUSE!!!!!” Kangin and Hangeng sang

“Hyung! Put my wife down!” Kyuhyun scolded Siwon again as he was swinging me over his shoulders

“Look at Kyuhyun! All sensitive and caring!” Sungmin and Ryewook pouted and mocked Kyuhyun

Kyuhyun gave them a death glare, “HAHA” he laughed sarcastically, “Hyung! Put her down” he scolded again

“Fine” Siown gently put me back on my feet

“Oh my” I was a little dizzy

“Babe, you alright?” he asked

“Yeah, I’m okay” I smiled

“Bring the toys in!” Leeteuk called, “Hey, Min Ri!” he smiled

“Oppa!” I hugged him

“Congratulations!” he smiled and kissed my forehead

“Thanks” I smiled

“Hyung! Where do want these?” Zhoumi asked, carrying a box filled with teddy bears

My eyes widened, “Are those for our . . .?” I asked

Zhoumi smiled, “When Henry told us you were pregnant, we rushed to the department store and bought what we could. We even consulted our mother for this” he riffled my hair

“You were with Henry?” Kyuhyun asked

I nodded, “Minho and the rest of the gang, they threw me a surprise party and then, I threw up and then Min Hee gave me a pregnancy test and then they took me to the hospital---“ “Why didn’t you call me?” he cut me off

 “I was too shocked I wasn’t even thinking straight” I reasoned out

“Come on, Kyu” Sungmin spoke, “Give the girl a break, she just found out she was pregnant”

“Yeah, Kyu! Come on, help us bring the baby’s stuff up stairs” Leeteuk called

“We’re going to talk” 

I frowned, "Kyu"

He turned his back and started helping his brothers with fixing the baby's room. Actually, it never occurred to me that I had to call him. I knew I had to but I was juts too shocked to do so and keep my thoughts organized.
