HAIR Of course (if you're familiar with Kpop) you know that there are idols with other, brighter hair colors, but generally the darker you're hair, the more Korean-like you will look, at least this is what I think.
I just find that dark or black hair does meet with the core of a typical ulzzang appearance more than colorful hair. Dark hair also enhances your face and makes it appear whiter. 

As I said, you can go for blonde, etc (remember you can neglect a few things), but if you're unsure about the success of your transformation, etc, black is the best color.
If you absolutely want to dye, but not blonde, the more decent and darker the color you chose, the better it is. That is because blonde/ bright brown hair does dilute your apperance into the Japanese direction or into something undefined pretty fast and before you look quite ulzzang-ish I think it's to risky to be fancy schmancy with hair colors.

I also think that nearly all ulzzangs still have black hair. SHAPE When talking about the things that Koreans and Korean wanna-bes alike crave for the most one must mention v-line oregg-shape.
It is maybe the most important and crucial point of the perfect face: both of these expression describe the ideal face shape which should be narrowing down towards the chin in a v-shaped contour. And many many plastic surgeries are done to bring the naturally squarish or round Asian face into a slimmer form.

Why the v-line? As opposed to many other features it doesn't make you look younger, but actually older if anything. But a wide face gives a less elegant, less feminine and less delicate air. It appears to be more masculine and tough and just looks rougher than a petite face. COMPLEXION Koreans are extremely obsessed about natural, clean, bright, glowy skin. You haven't seen an ulzzang with pimples, redness, etc right?
Blemish-free and particularly white skin have been playing a big role in the ulzzang scene for a long time. Even among small children it can happen that on is bullied by the other for being dark skinned. So it's no wonder that most idols are very fair, too. Those who are more tanned, like Hyori, are not really judged with the same standard as other, typical K-pop stars.

Lately, a big trend is the dewy complexion, very glowy, almost to the point when it looks as if you're sweating. FOREHEAD Asians all more or less want to looks cute (Koreans not as much as Japanese).
