Kyuhyun isn’t sure why he chose to stay after the accident. Leaving Super Junior is the obvious choice, mainly because being a member of Super Junior ended in him getting injured badly when their van crashed. Also, the moment he is well enough to be discharged, he is handed a list of schedules and told to get back to work.

But looking at Leeteuk whose eyes crinkled up until you could barely see them and exposing nearly all his teeth in the widest smile Kyuhyun has ever seen him make; at Sungmin who had hugged him as soon as he came through the door and all the other members’ reactions when he came back to the dorm, small suitcase in hand, he feels that the pain he went through is nothing compared to the happiness he gets from being with his hyungs. The words are on the tip of his tongue but he swallows them for the sake of preserving his evil maknae image.
