Taemin felt his heart quicken from hearing that Naeun wanted to talk to him but on the other side of his brain told him not go. He couldn't distinguish wether he wants to stay with Jieun for the entire event or he wants to find out why Naeun wants to talk to him - in the end, he choose Naeun. He shouldn't have second thoughts about someone when he knew his feelings real well, he likes Naeun.   "Oh! I heard from Jieun you wanted to talk with me." Taemin muttered as he took another step on the staircase leading to the rooftop but stopped when he encountered Naeun. He gazed on Naeun with a smile he shows all the time but this time, it was truly genuine and not something fake. "I-I do." Naeun stutter as she ascends towards Taemin and gave him a small smile before walking past him to which Taemin raised his eyebrows and turned his head to Naeun, "Hey, I thought you wanted to talk with me?" Taemin asked again causing Naeun to slightly let out a irritated sighed.   "Let me rephrase what I said to Jieun." Naeun replied with her back still turned towards Taemin who cocked his head in return - waiting for Naeun to explain. "I do want to talk to you was an excuse to make you go to the rooftop and have a talk with someone else." Naeun explained while Taemin furrowed his eyebrows and widen his eyes in realisation, "Jongin..." Taemin guessed.   Naeun nodded, "Please talk to him. He seems to be more angry ever since he's seat partner arrived." Naeun commented as she turned around to meet Taemin's eyes. "Seat partner?" Taemin murmur to which Naeun nodded again but with her eyes already pooling up with tears, "I believe her name is Lee Yeonhee. Kai seems to be frustrated with her that I can't help but feel really bad towards him because he is always reserved and someone who doesn't act recklessly." Naeun explained before bowing at Taemin. "Please talk to him!" Naeun exclaimed while closing her eyes and feeling her tears spilling on the concrete stairs.   Does she like him? Taemin thought as he watched Naeun practically begging - who would go to this extent to practically beg for a friend. Taemin sighed and felt his shoulders slumped in defeat. Kai does always get the girls even though he doesn't really talk or hang with them since he has some problems with females especially when you mention something about his mum.
