THE IDIOT WHO WOKE ME FROM MY SLEEP IN THIS COOL LIBRARY WILL GET A FIST IN THEIR FACE FROM ME.
Wait, i'll be kinder.
In their stomach.

Jessica turned around with an upset glare as she got up from her sleeping position.
Hiding behind the bookshelves were a dorky Yuri, making a heart with her arms over her head.

"I love you"

Yuri mouthed with a cheeky wink.

"WHAT?!"

Jessica mouthed back as she rolled her eyes in annoyance, picking her school bag up and storming over to her.
Yuri chuckled and ran out of the library, knowing that Jessica would follow her for sure.

Outside the school library, Yuri giggled as she hook her arms over Jessica's.

"We're going on a date today!"

Yuri cheered happily, tugging Jessica out of the school.

"Can't you see how tired i am?!"
"You woke me up from my sleep!"
"And i don't want to go, my bag is heavy today!"

Yuri stopped in her steps, and frowned.
Looking at Jessica's bag, Yuri spoke.

"Heavy?"
"Really?"
"It's okay, here give it to me"

Yuri said with a smile as she brought Jessica's bag over, 
and putting it over her.

"I'll carry it for you!"

Jessica rolled her eyes, arms crossed.

Im never getting out of this, aren't i?

With that, Yuri brought Jessica to Incheon airport of South Korea.
It is the main airport of South Korea, having one of the best facilities and flights in the world.

"Why are we here?"

Jessica asked as she looked around the familiar place.
She used to frequent this place with her parents when she was younger.
Flying around, touring the world with her parents during her school holidays.

"I've been wanting to do this"

"Do what?"

Jessica further probed as they sat down at a fast food joint located in the airport.

"Wait here"
"Have a full stomach before we go"

Yuri instructed with a wink as she went towards the counter and came back only minutes later,
with a tray of two burgers, fries as well as soft drinks.

"Eat up"

Jessica frowned at Yuri suspiciously before taking a sneak peak at her burger followed by a few sniff.
Yuri dropped back against the chair and laughed out loud, holding onto her stomach.

"Sica-ah!"
"There's no cucumbers in it!"
"Not even a slice, stop sniffing it!"

Jessica rolled her eyes and took a last look at it before turning back to Yuri and snorted.

"Well, i was tramautised by you the previous time we had burgers"
"I just had to make sure"

Jessica said professionally, as if it's something really serious before taking a huge bite on the burger.
Grinning a little like a kid at the delicious burger, Yuri smiled.

How did she managed to find all these delicious cheeseburgers?
It tasted almost like those that i had in America.

I must bring Krystal here sometime.
Im sure she misses the burgers from America.

"You know"
"You should start smiling that"

"Huh?"

Jessica asked, not really into Yuri's question but only the delicious burger in her hands.

"Smile more, i mean"

"There is no reason for me to do that"

"Why?"

"No reason"

"Sica, i want to be the reason behind it"
"I want to be the reason behind your smiles from now on"

"..."

Yuri forced out a smile as Jessica ignored her statement.

Wanting to be the reason behind your smiles is just an understatement to how i feel towards you.
I want to be the reason for your smiles.
I want to be the reason for your laughters.
I want to be the first in your mind all the time.
I want to be missed by you.

And lastly, i want to be loved by you.
I'll try my best, to make this happen in the name of my favourite natural phenomenon.
I've always believed that rainbow is a miracle.

Sica, you're a miracle to me.
Do you know that?
Because you've appeared in my life when i didn't even thought of having someone like you in it.
I couldn't even imagine myself loving you.

But now?
I can't stop it.

While watching the one she love eat with that satisfied and contented look,
Yuri couldn't help but felt fireworks inside her.

It was the best feeling she could have ever experienced ever since she was born.
Whatever her parents bought her, couldn't bring her these much happiness.

About two hours later, when the two latter had finished their lunch,
Yuri had that playful smirk on her face.

Jessica shot her a look as she wriggled her eyebrows at Yuri.

"What are you up to?"

Yuri winked and pulled Jessica into the departure hall after speaking to one of the staff there.
With a few nods, the staff opened the gate and let the two in.

Walking through the departure hall with the duty free shops, Jessica had an uneasy look on her.
Unable to continue any further, Jessica stopped in her steps.

Yuri too stopped.
Turning over to Jessica, Yuri looked puzzled.

"What's wrong?"

"Tell me what you're up to"
"If not, im going home now"

Jessica threatened as she crossed her arms, letting out an angry pout.
Yuri chuckled and gave Jessica's arms a light tug.

"Awww"
"Our princess is angry now huh?"
"Come on, don't be"
"I promise you it'll be fun"

"What will be fun?"
"Flying off to somewhere illegally without a passport?"
"Im sorry, i don't do such stupid stuff"

Jessica snapped impatiently as she turned around and started to walk away, 
towards the exit of the departure hall.

"Sica!"

Jessica didn't even bother turning around.
With a sigh, Yuri ran after her and grabbed her by her wrist.

"Listen to me!"
"Please?"

Showing her an impatiently look, Jessica spoke.

"30 seconds"

"Sica, i promise it's not something like that okay?"
"I promise it won't land you in the police station or whatsoever"
"So please, just try it out with me"
"It will be exhilarating and fun"

"Nothing illegal?"

Jessica asked doubtfully which Yuri nodded in return with a smile before pulling Jessica back.
This time round, Yuri did not even bother loosening her hands with Jessica's nor letting it go.

Yes.
Just let me hold you like this, tight.

Tugging her to an exit where by passengers go through it to board the plane,
Yuri looked left and right, making sure the coast is clear before pushing the blockage off quietly.

"YAH!"

Jessica whispered and started hitting Yuri's back continuosly while she pushed the blockage away.

"Shh.."
"Come!"

Yuri added as she pulled Jessica into the plane's runway.
In fact, she is dragging Jessica along while Jessica was looking left and right frantically to see if anyone has found out about them,
trespassing through here illegally.

"KWONYURI!"
"Let's get back out!!"

Yuri shook her head and pulled Jessica around the area freely, 
running around there with smiles over her face.

"Why Sica?"
"It's my first time doing this!"
"And it's so fun to be so close with the planes!"
"Shall we take a selca?!"

Yuri suggested as she ran over to Jessica and pulled her near a Korean Airlines' plane.
Placing her arm over Jessica's shoulder, Yuri quickly took her phone out and was about to take a selca with Jessica's disgruntled look when a shout was heard.

"HEY WHO ARE THE TWO OF YOU?!"
"What are you two doing in here?!"

A man in jumper suit shouted as he started marching over to the two latter.
Yuri supposed it was the plane engineer.
Sighing a little, Yuri still held her phone up high.

"Quick, Sica"
"Kimchi~"

"KWONYURI!"

Jessica shouted panickly as the phone's camera clicked.

I don't see how legal this is, Kwon Yuri.
Running out of nowhere into this restricted area.

And now the weird guy is coming over to us.
Probably getting us to their security station.

You're so dead when we're out.

Grinning at the photo for a few seconds, Yuri realised that the engineer was really close to them.
Despite the shoutings, she couldn't hear a single thing because few of the planes around them were on.
The engines of the planes were too loud for anything to be heard.
Much less to say about the voice of the engineer.

Looking around, Yuri laughed and turned to Jessica.

"Are you ready?"
"On the count of 3, we will start running to that exit direction okay?"
"It will lead to a beautiful hill as we run out towards that exit"

Jessica couldn't wait till the count of three and she started sprinting towards exit Yuri had just told her.
Yuri's hands were tightly held by Jessica as she pulled Yuri and started dashing towards it.

Goodness, because of this Kwon, i've broke my life motto - Never run no matter how late you are.
I know it's not about lateness or whatsoever, but my main point is, i hate running.

While running along with Yuri, Jessica started from giggles, to chuckles and soon,
breaking out into laughters as the two latter got to the hill outside the airport.

Falling onto the greeny hill, the two latter laid side by side with each other.
Hands under their head, with smiles over their faces even though they were actually perspiring.

"It was fun, right?"

Yuri asked with a laugh as she recalled back the whole running away incident from the engineer.
Jessica nodded and closed her eyes.

"It's been a long time since i ran"
"Feels good actually"

"Great to hear"
"You're a good runner, Sica"
"It seems like you're good at everything"

"Good runner..?"

«°FLASHBACK°»

"RUN RUN RUN!"
"Why are you so slow?!"
"Why can't you do it like how Krystal did?!"

Mr Jung shouted at Jessica angrily in their indoor gym while Mrs Jung stood by the side and shook her head disappointedly.
Krystal then stood by Mr and Mrs Jung's side innocently and stared at Jessica's dejected look.

Jessica had tried her best.
But it just seemed that her younger sister outshone her, which Jessica didn't even blame anyone for it.

"You better stay here and run for another two hours before leaving the gym"
"Don't bother about dinner, you'll have to spend it with the gym!"
"I don't understand why are you such a non-atheletic person when im a an athelete as well as your mom!"
"Don't even know if you're my child or not!"

Okay, that hurts.
Appa, that really did.

Im sorry if i couldn't excel as much as Krystal in sports.
But, do you really have to go till this extend in your daily insults?

"Precisely"
"Studying music?"
"That's just something useless"
"It's not as if you're talented or whatsoever"
"I don't understand how music can lead you to earn big bucks in future"

Mrs Jung added with a disappointed tone before walking out of the gym with Mr Jung and Krystal.
Leaving Jessica behind, she fell onto the ground in exhaustion.

Im always meant to be left behind, ain't i?
Taeyeon did it to me, too.
Leaving me behind for that Tiffany girl.

"Why are we breaking up..?"

Jessica asked in tears as she forced those words out of .
Trying not to choke on any of it.

"Im sorry"
"I've fallen in love with Tiffany"

No..
Taeyeon, how could you..?

"Tiffany?"
"Tiffany Hwang?"
"That new transfer student..?"
"But how..?"

"Im sorry"
"There's nothing i can say to make up for my mistake"
"I gotta go"

Taeyeon said as she turned around and started running off.
Jessica ran after that danshin and held onto her wrist to stop her from running further.

"Why..?"

This time, tears were rolling down Jessica's cheeks.

"Which part of me is not as good as her?"
"I'll do my best to change for you"
"Please don't leave me.."

Jessica begged bitterly in tears.
Taeyeon shook her head firmly and Jessica's hands off her.

"It's different"
"She's always so bubbly and such"
"You're always so cold and lifeless"
"All you could think of is music and nothing else"
"Being with her is so much happier than being with you"
"She runs with me, but you don't"
"You don't compete in games with me too"

"I can-"

"It's okay Sica"
"You don't have to change for me"
"Im sorry if these words hurt you, but it's the truth"
"Bye"

"Maybe..?"

Jessica replied half-heartedly.

You didn't even give me a chance Taeng.
You didn't.

"Sica-ah"
"Can i tell you something about me?"

"If i replied no"
"Will that stop you from asking?"

"Why would you even do that?"

"Because i felt like it"

Yuri chuckled.

"When im young, i've always believed in rainbows"
"And i love to see rainbows"

Yeah.
Rainbows, i can tell the crazy obsession you have with the rainbows.

Now that i come to think of it, but why?

"Do you wanna know why?"

"..."

"Well, when i was younger"
"My grandmother whom i loved dearly was in the last stage of cancer"
"And she was already leaving this world"
"This cruel world but i prayed so hard one day to the rainbow"
"It was rare to see rainbow then"

"Im wating"

Jessica muttered impatiently while Yuri let out a soft sigh,
she continued.

"I prayed to let my grandma see through the sunrise"
"Because the doctors said that night was the last night"
"Grandma wouldn't pull through it"
"But i never once gave up"
"I prayed so hard to the rainbow that afternoon and"
"My grandma really did made it through the next sunrise"

"Im sorry.."

Jessica whispered softly as she opened her eyes slowly and took a close up look at Yuri.
Yuri's perfect facial features.
Perfect skin, perfect complexion, perfect nose, perfect eyes and every single thing.

Why did everything look so perfect to me?!
JESSICA JUNG SOOYEON!

YOU'RE GOING INSANE!

"Whatever for?"
"It's not even your fault that my grandma had to leave this cruel world"
"It's better that she left"
"Because in that way, she wouldn't be suffering here with her cancer"

Walking Jessica up to her mansion, Yuri smiled and passed Jessica a small gift bag.

"What is this?"

"I figured out i should gift you something"
"It's just something really small"
"I've gotten it when i was out shopping alone the other day"
"Hope you like it"

"Why a gift?"

"Felt like it suited you"

Yuri replied with an child-like smile.
Innocent and pure.

"Oh, thanks"

"Nope"
"Thanks to you for today's awesome date"
"I had fun running around the plane's runway"
"And lying on the greeny hill with you in silence"
"It was really awesome, Sica"

"I had fun too"
"And yup, i'll always remember your definition of illegal"
"Thanks for that lesson"

Jessica replied sarcastically with a smile.
Shaking the bag a little, she added, "Thanks for this too".

"Sure!"
"Go in then, it's getting cold"

Nodding her head, Jessica headed back to her house and was about to close the door when she heard Yuri's shout.

"YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL TODAY PRINCESS!"
"Love you!"

Jessica chuckled as she slammed the gate close strongly on purpose.
She didn't know why but that simple compliment made her so happy that she couldn't get that grin off her face.

It's been a long time since i've heard such compliment.
I don't know why, but ever since Yuri came in,

Taeyeon hadn't been into my mind for quite some time now that i think of it.
Is it really true, Kwon?
You'll bring Taeyeon off my mind?
