Have You Ever? [Oneshot]
Cool air filled the room the two were in, causing a chill for both that didn’t seem to fade. All other members were in their prospective rooms, calling it a night so that they were rested for the next day’s events. That was their plan as well, but when Kyungsoo had gotten into his bed, he spotted a huge daddy long leg on his pillow and lost it. He ran down the hall screaming like a schoolgirl, hands flailing in the air and eyes opened wide. Only one of the members opened his door to find out what all of the commotion was and within seconds did the frightened boy spot him and latch onto his torso. Kai stood there confused for a few seconds, and had to stop himself from laughing when the shorter mentioned it was a simple, harmless spider that scared the daylight out of him. Without further hesitation did he bring the boy in his large room and sat him down on a two person sofa in front of the tv. A movie was playing, but Mr. Doeyes would have none of it.
“It’s okay, shhhh, it’s okay,” Kai whispered to the shorter and gently wrapped his left arm over his shoulder. He rubbed his arm, trying to calm him down.
“It’s gone and I’m here now. Don’t worry.”
Soo gulped and no longer did his heart beat fast from the spider scare, but from the close proximity of the two. Since it was particularly cold, he could feel the other’s body heat wrap unto him. After a moment or so he finally began to calm down, starting to actually watch the movie. Kai felt the elder’s body relax yet didn’t remove his arm, smiling when Soo’s body slightly leaned into his touch.
His fingers rhythmically rubbed over Soo’s shoulder into a soothing melody and after a while the shorter was leaning almost completely in Kai’s arms. The lead dancer was the only one that knew exactly how close the two were and instantly did a devilish, evil idea creep into his head.
He leaned his lips close to Kyungsoo’s ear, said boy having no idea, and whispered that one word.
“Boo!”
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAS;DLDFKJAS;LJASLKFJASL;DKFJSAOFSJDFLASKJGASDJFGASLKDGJNHASDKFJNJASMIJFNWOAEIJFN IASHJFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!” Kyungsoo jumped up from the couch and screamed so high pitched it nearly pierced Kai’s ears, all while running in every different direction around the room. Kai was in the corner of the sofa laughing so hard the next house could probably hear him, but it was worth it. The sight of the short, petite boy flailing his arms in the air was the cutest thing he could ever imagine.
Regardless, within a few moments he started to feel bad as the poor boy looked genuinely frightened. He then got up from the sofa and started chasing the other around. Catching him was no feat, however, as his little legs carried him left and right, still in his own world and unaware to the man running after him.
Kai soon decided it would be better to just stand in the same spot and reach his arms out.
Yet, when he looked over to the boy, Soo instantly ran into a wall and made a loud thud echo. The taller couldn’t help but smile as he walked over to the boy who was now running a hand over the new bump on his forehead. Kai held his arms out open and, when he got to the shorter, took him in his embrace. He could feel his racing heartbeat thump against his chest and enjoyed every bit of it- he quite liked the sight of a flustered Kyungsoo.
When he released his grip, he found that the shorter was staring at him. More particularly, his lips.
Soo couldn’t take his eyes off of him. His head hurt and he was pretty sure his new bump had something to do with his unorthodox thoughts. He wanted to see what it was like…
…to kiss a boy.
He had never done it before, and he kind of wanted to see what it was like. Even if he didn’t have romantic feelings -which he wasn’t so sure about anymore- , a kiss was just a kiss, right? Kyungsoo pondered this thought for a while, and was truly going to attempt to perhaps, slightly, brush his against Kai’s when he looked up and found a gaze upon his.
The two had about a foot between them, and Kai lowered his right hand down to Soo’s waist before speaking.
“Something wrong?” He asked with a small, almost invisible smirk. One that implied he knew what Kyungsoo was thinking, even if it was just a guess.
The touch on his side sent a shockwave through Soo and he wasn’t entirely sure that Kai had even said anything. He stared up, captivated by his thought and the desire to make it come true.
Kai quickly understood he wouldn’t be getting any response anytime soon.
“Soo-ah,” the affectionate tone he used almost made Soo barf rainbows, but caught his attention nonetheless, “have you ever kissed a boy before?” The question fell from his lips and he couldn’t help but put a slight, seductive tone into it.
Blush immediately flooded his cheeks and his mouth went dry.
“I-I… umm no…”
Kai stepped closer, closing the distance between the two. He leaned in and placed his lips at the boy’s ear.
“Did you want to?”
Hand still resting on the shorter’s side, he immediately felt the boy tense. No response came and that was answer enough for the boy as he backed his head away and stared into Soo’s eyes. He used his left hand to cup the elder’s cheek, and parted his lips. Leaning in, he captured those lips in his.
With every fiber of his body, Kai kissed him and memorized the feeling of Soo’s skin upon his. The way he could feel Kyungsoo’s burning cheeks on his, how he could sense the slight hesitation and desire underlined in his touch- he loved it all. He wanted to remember it forever, and he had truly wondered what it would be like to kiss him too.
Kyungsoo wanted to faint. From happiness, from bliss, from everything. Kissing him… it felt amazing. The slight pressure that Kai used to hold Soo’s lips between his, the warm feeling radiating off of the taller’s healthy skin, all of it was so perfect.
With the way Soo had been frozen for so long, he figured the elder hadn’t breathed for a while and reluctantly lifted his lips. He could see the dazed look in Soo’s eyes and knew he had thought it was just as flawless as he did. The shorter soon remembered to breathe and looked down at his shoes, shyness overcoming him as the scene replayed over and over again in his mind.
A small desire overcame him and his shyness, and sent him reaching up for more. Wrapping his arms around the taller, he connected them once more in a second, searing kiss, telling both that this certainly wouldn’t be their last.
