Background
Having known and met each other through AFF, it is easy to deduce that we, the administration of this recommendation list, share the common interest of reading kpop fan fiction. In particular, we enjoy reading fan fiction and good fan fiction at that. Always willing to feed our -loving minds, we discussed and swapped wondrous stories we had read. Some tales were tooth-achingly sweet, some got our hearts pumping and some had our morales and thoughts intriguingly warped.
We like to think we aren't selfish people. We would love to share good stories with others! Thus, the idea to start a recommendation list was born.
 

Purpose
This entire recommendation list has one sole purpose: to recommend other readers amazing stories to read. Sometimes, finding an enjoyable story on AFF is hard. Trust us when we say we understand, we've gone through the same frustrations. However, AsianFanFics does have good writers and they deserve recognition! 
So, here is where we come in. We search, we read, we discuss and finally, if we are impressed enough, we recommend. Consider us a fan fiction filter of sorts! We weed through the bad and ugly and only offer you the creme of the crop. 
In conclusion, we hope that our recommendation list will help every kpop shipper out there. And in the future, we hope that you will be able to grace us with your own recommendations!
 

How does this recommendation list work?
Everything starts in chapter 1. From there onward, you will be able to navigate through a series of clicks like so:
List of kpop groups & pairings within those kpop groups --click pairing you prefer--> list of stories under that pairing --click story title--> individual story description page --click story title again--> actual story
The list of stories for each pairing will be organized by length (chaptered vs oneshots), rating (G, PG, PG-13, PG-15, NC-17 & R) and genre (fluff, angst, action, adventure etc...).
Each story description will have further information such as: genre, summary, our analysis on the fic and most importantly, the link to the story!
Either way, we're thinking you guys will be able to intuitively navigate just fine on your own.

Hey there, I'm PurplePluto but feel free to call me Nadine. I've been into kpop for a little over 2 years now? But I've been reading fan fiction for over...8 years? Holy moly, that's a long time now that I put a number to it. I've also just joined the AFF writing community and love it. My current bias kpop group is EXO and before that was Infinite. Inspirit and...Exotic?(what's the darn fan club name already SM?!) for life! 
Biggest eye catchers in fan fiction: Definitely crack pairings and unusual plot lines. Anything darker themed as well; the more violent, y and/or crime related it is, the better. I really enjoy romance driven fiction as well.
Biggest pet peeves in fan fiction: Overly whiny and needy male characters, incredibly depressing and unmotivated characters and arranged marriage plot lines.

Pseudonyms are fun. Let's stick with siahna for me. :) I'm also fairly new to AFF, and have always been a chronic lurker regardless of the fandom. Here's to turning over a new leaf! I have a difficult time making up my mind about these things, but for now let's say my favorite music groups are Big Bang, Infinite, and SHINee.
Biggest eye catchers in fan fiction: I love unique plots and mature/dark themes. I also find awkward or embarrassing situations a lot of fun to read.
Biggest pet peeves in fan fiction: bad spelling/grammar, a lack of a thought out plot, unrealistic storytelling, overly whiny characters, and over-the-top depictions of characters (i.e. diva!key). I also don't tend to give fics that have an inquisitory/exclamatory sentence as a title a second glance.
 

Submission rules and regulations [Currently not accepting submissions]
1. Submission must be a kpop fan fiction on AFF only.
2. Submission must be of a complete story.
3. We ask that you do not submit your own or your friend's story. Trying to keep things unbiased here.
4. Please, give us a reason why you're recommending a certain story!


Disclaimers
1. This recommendation list will only recommend completed stories on AFF. Don't get us wrong, there are plenty of incomplete stories out there that we could recommend. However, we don't want to be in a situation where we recommend a story that never gets completed or the plot suddenly goes south. 
2. We also will not recommend our own and any of our friends' fan fiction in this list (P: Sorry OSMs...).  We want to run an unbiased list here. 
3. Although we hope this goes without saying: this is our recommendation list. That means that this list runs on what we like. Got a problem with a story we recommend or have a problem with us not accepting your submission? to be you, man. We are not going to recommend a story just because someone else said it was good. If we don't like it, we don't recommend it. Done. And in similar news, 2+2=4.
4. As sassy as the last point may be, we will not tolerate any bad mouthing in the comment section. Don't like a couple or story? Cool, but don't go poop disturbing over it.
