Third Year of Summer

Choi Min Ho: 10 years old

Kwon Yuri: 10 years old

                “Choi Min Ho, we’re going to go camping this summer so pack up all your stuff okay?” Mr. Choi said. Minho excitedly ran to pack his bags. “Really dad?!” He yelled then ran up the stairs. “Yes! Hurry up! We’re leaving tomorrow morning!” His father yelled. Mrs. Choi walked and stood beside her husband.

                “Honey, isn’t it bad that we’re lying to him?” She asked shaking her head. Mr. Choi shook his head and smiled. “No…this is the only way.” He said with a sigh.

                Kwon Yuri ate breakfast slowly on her bed as a bowl of grapes were brought to her. She had a pair of beautiful clothing set in her room. “Mom.” She said kindly. “Yes princess?” Her mother asked smiling. Yuri chewed on her grape and smiled.

                “Why’re you preparing so many things today?” She asked. Her mother looked down and smiled. “We’re taking you to a ball today.” She said smiling. Yuri dropped her grape and fork in excitement.

                “What?! Ball?!” She asked happily with wide eyes while her mother smiled. She ran out of bed and into the bathroom excitedly.

                A car stopped in front of Yuri’s house and out came Minho and his parents. Minho’s face curled up instantly in disgust. “Dad, I thought we were going camping?!” He yelled rushing back into the car with anger all over his face.

                “Choi Minho.” His father said with a serious expression. Minho kept his gaze down. His mother walked over to him and smiled. “Minho, we’re staying here for the summer only. You’ll be fine.” She said smiling. “You get to hang out with Yuri again.” She said excitedly. Minho shot an angry glare at his mother.

                “I hate Kwon Yuri!” He screamed loudly. “Choi Min Ho!” His father yelled angrily. “Don’t you ever say that!” He yelled thunderously. Minho shook and became silent.

                Mrs. Kwon ran into the bathroom and grabbed Yuri. She was in the middle of having her dress fixed. “Mom.” She said confused watching her mother take her outside.

                “They’re here!” Her mother said excitedly. “Who’s here mom?” She asked confused while her mother chuckled. “Choi Minho.” She said walking near the door. Yuri instantly stopped and froze in place.

                “Choi-Choi-Choi Min Ho?” She stuttered angrily. All their horrible memories flashed through her head while her face soured up. Her mother opened the door widely after another doorbell rang.

                “Hi!” Mrs. Kwon yelled hugging Minho’s parents in excitement. “We’re finally here!” Minho’s mom yelled excitedly greeting each other. Their dads greeted each other politely and smiled at their meeting again. Yuri stood from afar and Minho stood behind his dad, slowly peeking over to glare at Yuri.

                “Ugh!” He said quietly while Yuri’s face smirked. She stuck her tongue out at him and ran up the stairs instantly.

                “She was so ugly!” Minho said disgusted. “HEY!!” Yuri yelled angrily.

Fourth Year of Summer

Choi Minho: 15 years old

Kwon Yuri: 15 years old

                Yuri was dressed in jeans and a loose blue shirt with a white tank top under, lying in her room on her bed and writing in her diary.

                                I HATE the summers now. That stupid Choi Min ho is coming back to

                        my house for the summer. Ugh! How I hate him is indescribable!

                “Kwon Yuri! Come downstairs to eat!!” Her mother yelled from the kitchen. She quickly ran downstairs without hesitation. “Yes! I’m starving!” She yelled running faster down the stairs. She arrived in the kitchen and froze seeing Minho’s parents cooking with her parents in her kitchen.

                “Hi Yuri!” Minho’s mother yelled coming to hug her while Minho’s father waved and smiled. Yuri slightly smiled and looked around confused and disgusted.

                “Don’t worry. Minho will be here.” Yuri’s mother said smiling. Yuri faked her smile and looked away. “He’ll be here soon. He’s driving down with his friends.” Minho’s dad said. Yuri’s jaws dropped. “He drives?!” Yuri asked shocked while Mr. and Mrs. Choi nodded smiling.

                There was a ring and knock at the door making Yuri quickly turned to look at the door with wide eyes. “Yuri, can you get that?” Her mother asked stirring a pot. Yuri stood frozen and motionless keeping her eyes on the door. Her straightened layered hair flew to cover half her face until her father walked past her making a breeze fly by her.

                “Yuri, listen to your mother next time.” He said opening the door. As her father shook hands with them, she noticed two guys walking in first. Yuri squinted her eyes trying to see better.
