“oi Keito…! Do our math homework…!” yelled Uchi as he throws their notebooks at Keito’s desk

“de…demo…I’m…I’m…I’m still doing my homework…” protested Keito

“so, you’re rejecting us eh…?!” glared Kuraki

“yeah, I think he’s rejecting us…he has the guts to reject us…!” exclaimed Keita

“it’s…i’ts…it’s not like that…what I’m…what I’m trying to say is that I’m still…I’m still doing my homework…” explained Keito

“URUSAI…! You don’t have the right to reject our request to you ok…?! So you have to finish our homework first before you did yours…! Understand…?!” glared Uchi as he grabs Keito’s collar and pulled him up

“ha…hai…” said Keito trembling

“you guys again…?!!! Haven’t I already told you to stop bullying Keito-kun…?!” exclaimed Keiri from behind Uchi, Kuraki and Keita

“what the..it’s this Keiri again…!” said Keita

“looks like your knight-in-shining armor came just in time eh…” smirked Kuraki as he taps Keito’s shoulder

“let go of Keito-kun and leave him alone…!” exclaimed Keiri as she slaps Uchi’s hand which is at Keito’s collar

“why you…?!!! You’re always butting in…! mind your own business…!” yelled Uchi

“yeah, get lost you brat…!” added Keita

“I won’t let you bully Keito-kun…! so back off…!” said Keiri with a fierce look on her eyes

“you…!!! We’ll not let you go away with this…!” exclaimed Uchi as the three of them leave

“Keito-kun, daijoubu…?” asked Keiri worriedly

“hai…arigatou Keiri-chan…” said Keito

“why is it that you don’t fight them back…? look what they are doing to you…? they’re abusing you…” said Keiri

“it’s just that I don’t like fights that’s why I’m not fighting them back…besides, they never hurt me…they just make me do their homework or sometimes their duties…” said Keito

“you’re really kind-hearted Keito-kun, that’s why those guys were always abusing your kindness…” said Keiri

Keiri’s POV:

“’I’m Keiri, and this is my childhood friend Keito…we knew each other since we were five years old…though we have the opposite traits, because I fight back whenever I felt that I’m being abused while Keito would just keep quiet at the corner when someone is bullying him, we were still very close with each other…I always protect him from the bullies like those three…I can say that I like protecting him because I can’t look at his poor face whenever he’s being bullied…”

As Keito and Keiri were eating their lunch at the rooftop…

“I told you Keito-kun, you should learn how to fight back to those bullies…!” said Keiri

“but why should I…?” asked Keito

“eh…?” asked Keiri confusedly

“why should I…? when I’ve got Keiri-chan that would fight for me…?” smiled Keito

“baka…! Don’t always depend on me…what if I’m not by your side when someone bullies you…? Who’ll gonna protect you…?” said Keiri

“I never thought about that, because I know that Yuchi-chan will never leave me…” smiled Keito

“whatever…” said Keiri as she blushed

Meanwhile, Uchi, Kuraki and Keita were talking about Keiri and Keito…

“that girl, she’s always butting in…!” said Uchi

“yeah…! Who does she think she is…? A superhero…?” added Keita

“she’s always like that since we’re in middle school, she’s always protecting that Keito…” said Kuraki

“well, I guess now is the time to teach that girl a lesson…” smirked Uchi

After class…

“Keito-kun, you go home first…I still have to go to the library…” said Keiri

“ok…jaa…!” smiled Keito

So Keito walks away while Keiri went to the library…as Keiri finished what she was about to do at the library she went outside but to her surprise…

“we finally found you…” smirked Uchi

“you…what do you want…?” asked Keiri while walking backwards

“why do you look so scared…? Where’s the brave Keiri that we knew…?” smirked Kuraki

“we just want to teach you a lesson…” said Keita as he grabs Keiri’s left arm…Kuraki grabbed Keiri’s right arm and they took her to the storage room…

As Keito was walking his way to his house, he suddenly remembered something…

“oh no…! I forgot my math notebook at my desk…we have a quiz there tomorrow so I have to get it…” Keito thought

As Keito went back to their room, he gets his math notebook and he noticed that Keiri’s bag was still there…

“eh…? Keiri-chan’s still at the library…?” he said to himself

By that, Keito checked if Keiri was still at the library but there were no signs of Keiri there…

“now where could she probably go…? I guess I have to find her so the two of us could walk home together…” Keito told himself

As Keito were searching for Keiri, he heard a scream coming from the storage room…

“let me go…! You three were really mean…! You never change…!” exclaimed Keiri

“urusai…! We don’t need your opinion…!” yelled Kuraki

“we’re sick and tired of you butting in whenever we asked Keito to do us favors…!” yelled Keita

“so now we’ll gonna teach you a lesson…” smirked Uchi

“you three were such a weaklings…! You thought that by bullying others you’ll look strong…? NO! you three were a bunch of weaklings…!” exclaimed Keiri

“you’re really getting on my nerves…!” glared Uchi as he was about to spank Keiri’s face

“I will not let you hurt Keiri-chan…!” exclaimed Keito  as he grabs Uchi’s arm

“what the…” uttered Uchi

“so, this poor Keito went here to the rescue eh…” smirked Kuraki

“as if he can do something…” added Keita

“it’s ok with me if I’m the one being bullied, but when Keiri-chan is involved then I would not forgive you…!” yelled Keito then he twist Uchi’s arm

“ITTAIIII…!” yelled Uchi in pain

“you have guts eh…!” glared Kuraki as he was about to punch Keito but Keito grabbed his fist and Keito punch Kuraki at the face very hard making him to fall on the floor

“stop acting cool…!” said Keita as he was about to kick Keito but Keito evaded Keita’s kick and head him

Uchi, Kuraki and Keita were lying weakly on the ground…

“if the three of you dare to lay a hand even at the tips of the hair of Keiri-chan, then it will be the end for you…!” exclaimed Keito

“dammit…! Ikuzou…!” yelled Uchi as the three of them walks away

“Keiri-chan, daijoubu…? did they hurt you…?” asked Keito as he went near Keiri and holds Keiri’s face up

“iie…I’m fine…it’s because you saved me Keito-kun…” said Keiri

“yokatta…I thought they already hurt you…” said Keito as he hugs Keiri tight

“Keito-kun, I never thought that you can fight those bullies…you were amazing while you were fighting with them…” said Keiri in amazement

“Yeah..erm…about that…” uttered Keito

“you can protect yourself after all…why aren’t you fighting them when they were bullying you…?” asked Keiri

“well, the truth is I never fight back because I know that there’s always Keiri that would protect me from those guys and I like it when you were protecting me Keiri-chan…since we were kids, I looked up to you…I admire you for being so brave to fight back to others…that’s what I love about you…I promised myself that I will also protect you Keiri-chan…I will not let anyone to hurt you…because…because…because I love you…” confessed Keito

“Keito-kun…” uttered Keiri

“Keiri-chan, let me love you and this time, let me protect you…will you be my girlfriend…?” asked Keito while looking at Keiri straight in the eyes

“Keito-kun…I also admired you ever since we were kids…I admire your kindness towards other and the care that you’re giving me…I’ve always loved you…so please love and protect me Keito-kun…” smiled Keiri

“arigatou Keiri-chan…! I love you…” said Keito

“I love you too Keito-kun…” said Keiri then suddenly, she felt Keito’s lips touches her lips…
