She was crying for the millionth time today, clutching his photo closer to her chest.

She hasn't eaten yet,trying to kill herself with hunger.

"Sica, let's go?" her bestfriend,Tiffany said while pulling her up.

"No. I'll stay with Kevin" she said, yanking her hand away from tiffany

"Sica, he's been dead one month ago" she keeps on pulling jessica up but failed.

"Oh shoot, I'm late. Tiffany said looking at her wristwatch "Are you sure you'll be alright?"

"Yes. Now go to your class" she said pushing Tiffany to the door

"Okay, bye"

She waved at Jessica, leaving the house. Jessica looked at the window until Tiffany's car is out of her sight.

"Another day without you Kev"she sighed

"I'm still here.Come on you need to eat" Kevin appeared,wrapping his arms on her waist kissing the nape of her neck.

"I thought you'll be back by morning, what took you so long?"

"I saw Tiffany talking to you so, I decided to give you some girls' time" he smiled as he kissed her cheeks.

Even though he's dead,she can still touch him like normal.

"I love you Kevin"

"I love you too Sic" his smile faded for a while the continued "but you need to move on."

 

She ate in silence as he watch her.

"I miss the taste of that" he laughed oining at the chicken she's munching.

"Cant you eat?"

"We don't need to eat since we're just soul now.We don't feel any thirst, hunger,and tiredness anymore. But I still miss all those feelings" he grinned, she laughed at his cute remarks making her tear abit.

"hey don't cry,I want you to be happy but you're crying" he moved closer to hug her

" I think I'll go for a walk" she smiled at him, leaning closer to peck his lips.

"Okay, I'll be back at night.We'll be playing and I'm on Soohyun's side"

"Soohyun?"
"He died October 15, 2005, car accident, it was the day of  his and his girlfriend's anniversary but they got on a fight, it was raining back then sho he didn't see the truck coming and BAM! he died"

"How sad" 

"Yeah, be back later" he smiled then stealed a kiss on her lips then disappeared

She was walking around the park when she saw a man trying to jump at Han River

"STOP" she ran to pull the boy's hand to stop him, but they both lost balance so he fell on top of her

"I'm sorry" he quickly got up, helping her get up too

"It's okay" she smiled

"You should have let me jump"

"Comitting suicide won't help you solve your problem, you'll just hurt yourself" she can't believe she said that thing to a complete stranger. She who tried to commit multiple suicides but ends up failing.

"My girlfriend just broke up with me. There's no reason for me to live" he said as they sat on the nearest bench

"My boyfriend died a month ago.I've tried hundreds of suicide but no luck,You need to live your life not for her but for yourself."

"Thanks um---

"Jessica"

"Thanks Jessica, I'm Kris by the way."

"Nice meeting you kris, hope the next time I see you, you're not trying to kill yourself" she laughed waving her hands as she left him

"I met a guy named Kris trying to kill himself" she said resting her head on his chest as he plays her hair.

It's been weeks since Kris and jessica starts going out together to help each otherforget their problems.

"Let's go picnic on Saturday"

"Sure. what time?"

"7'o clock" he said ,eating his icecream

"But where?"

"Somewhere relaxing."

"Wow it's so pretty kris" she siled

"Anything for you my love" he said softly

"What?" she ask not believing what he said

"Hm? "

"Nothing forget it." she said

They fixed the basket and starts preparing the food

"Eew" Kris said as he toss the stuffings of the sandwich.

"Why?"

"I hate tomato".he pouts like a kid 

"You don't eat tomato?" he shooks his head, still pouting like a lost puppy

"Oh, I'll eat it. Aaah" She said opening as he feed her the tomatoes.

She was smiling when a certain scene flashed her mind

"what's your problem?"

"I hateeeeeeeeeeee tomato" Kevin whined like a kid.

"I'll eat it." she smiled as he gave her the tomato. The half of the tomato was inside and the other half was dangling at her lips.

She was about to open to eat the tomato whole when Kevin leaned closer biting the half of the tomato.

After biting the other half Kevin kissed her lips

"I thought you hate tomato?"

"Any food that my girlfriend loves, i loves too. Anyways, you'll be the one cooking when we get married too."

"Wow, you can predict the future"

"I can't predict but I'm sure of one thing; you'll be the only one I'll live with  for the rest of my life"

"I love you Kev"

"Hey sica, back to present" Kris waved his hands in front of her

"Sorry I dozed off"

"What were you thinking?"

"Kevin" she answered softly

he nodded his head, hurt by what she said.

She still thinks about him even though he's been months dead.

But he can't blame her, he was her first love so it's hard for her to forget him

"That was great Kris thanks" she hugged him lightly

He felt electricity running through his veins with her light touches

She was about to leave when he held her wrist

"Hmm?"

He pulled her closer, kissing her lips.

She was at shock that she can't move

"I need to go" she pusshed him lightly, running inside her house leaving him alone

He was looking at the locked door and smiled softly

She was blushing mad with Kris' kiss

"I guess you're starting to fall in love again" Kevin spoke, appearing at her back

"I'm sorry Kev, sorry I----" she was about to hug him when she can't touch him anymore. He's still visible but she can't touch him, not anymore
 

"What's happening kev?"

"You're starting to forget me.   You see Jess, a soul can't get up when a string was still attatched to them. The reason I'm not yet going up was because the string attatched to you was still connected. Once you start forgetting me, the string will slowly loose and that's what happening now. Once you fully loved him, the string will be fully cut and I can go up then" he smiled softly

"But.... I don't want you to leave" she cried

"Sssh. That's why you need to find somebody else. I need to leave too, my 100th days is near. Let go of the string if you want me to be peaceful"

"Promise me to watch me everytime"

"I promise."

"Promise to show up when I need a shoulder to cry on"

"Of course"

"I love you kevin Woo"

"I love you most jessica Jung Sooyeon"

"Too bad we didn't get to do all our dreams" she smiled bitterly, thinking what if they got married

"I know Sooyeon, but at least there's someone who loves you the way I do"

"Kris?"

Jessica went to the place Kris told her to go.

"Jessica you came" he smiled happily

"Yes" she looked at his back to see Kevin smiling at her.

"I love you Jessica" he said hugging her tightly

She didn't hug him back, still looking at kevin

"Go on, hug him back" Kevin mouthed, she nodded her head, smiling

She did as he told her, she hugged him back. His hug on her waist tightened.

"Goodbye Jess" Kevin said

"Goodbye Kevin. I love you" she said softly, crying

Kevin finally disappeared leaving the two alone

"I love you Jessica"

"I love you too kris"

She tiptoed to kiss his lips, he gladly respond to the kiss hugging her more tighter as she wrapped her hands on his neck.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kevin was at the back of the tree, talking to Soohyun

"You're going up now bro?"

"Yes. Jessica finally let go of the string."

"Me too. Sunny finally feel really sorry for what happened and now I can go.Let's go dude"

"Yeah" with one last look, Kevin finally disappeared with Soohyun
