Minhyuk’s POV

 

Ahh! What is wrong with me? Seriously. This is just….unpredictable! ever since I saw her, I can’t stop myself from not thinking about her. Her flawless figure, everything about her just, so perfect. I can’t keep my eyes off her. But I can’t do it. I don’t know why I can’t pull out the words that have been playing in my heart and causing chaos to me. This is just INSANE! Girl, you make me go insane. So badly. I want you to be mine

 

“Minhyuk?” Someone tapped on my shoulder causing me to jump a little from my seat.

 

“Hyung?” my eyes landed on the guy. My hyung, Eunkwang. The guy that know mostly about my secret but not this one.

 

“What’s wrong with you lately? You look…..clueless. Is there something that bother you?” Hyung really is concern about me. One side of him that I like. He’s a nice guy if you know him well

 

“no, nothing. I am just fine. Do I look like I am lost?” I know something is not right with me. I’ve been thinking about this girl. Oh God, she drives me crazy. I wanted to tell her my feeling but, that’s the problem. We’re not even that close. Just a normal friend. She’s my new classmate and yet she’s my new neighbour. The first time I saw her, I started to feel something inside me. Something that made me wanted to get to know her better. She was pretty enough for me. Her beautiful smile, her silky black hair, her milky skin, her eyes, everything about her make me go insane.

 

“Yes Minhyuk, you know that you’re very bad at lying. Mind telling what’s bothering you?” Hyung take the chair and sat in front of me, facing me. Trust me, hyung is very nice

 

“I don’t know how to start” a sigh escaped my lips as I was resting my back against the chair and breathed out

 

“well, what do you have in your mind now?” Hyung started.

 

“A person….” I am starting to imagine about the girl AGAIN.

 

“person? Someone important to you?”

 

“So much….but she doesn’t know it”

 

“huh? Your crush?” Hyung smirked and becoming more interesting in knowing

 

“Sounds like that yeah?” I tried to play fool

 

“So, who is this lucky girl? I never knew that you will have a crush. She must be lucky because you, Minhyuk, the kingka in this school, has a feeling for her” Hyung stated. Well, can’t argue with that. I am the kingka in this school and got many attentions from the students especially the girls but hell no I don’t give a damn about those girls. I only have this one girl that I want.

 

“My neighbour” 

 

“your neighbour? Hmmm, let me guess. It’s Lee Haera right?” Hyung sure is pretty good with this. I had to admit it. He is cool. Well done hyung

 

“so?” I furrowed my brow and crossed my arms.

 

“so, this new girl in our class is your crush eh Minhyuk. So, what’s bothering you? Just tell her your feeling towards her”

 

“Now that’s the main problem here hyung. I don’t think that she will like me back in  return.” I sighed, Again.

 

“Minhyuk, if you don’t tell her now, you might not know what wil happen. You’re ready to lose her? Ready to see her with someone else? Ready to get heartbroken?”

 

“Yah Hyung! Don’t scares me like that. I am not ready yet”

 

“you’re just too insecure and naïve Minhyuk”

 

Meanwhile while in a deep sigh and Eunkwang-hyung was advising me things about love, I am lost in my dreamland and can’t help myself to not think about her. By then, a voice greeted us. Sweet, lovely voice.

 

“Hi Minhyuk-ah, Eunkwang-ah” Haera greeted us with a sweet smile of her. Oh God, that smile, never fail to flutter my heart.

 

“Hi Haera-ah, good morning” Before I could open my mouth to return back the greeting, hyung snapped in, cutting me off. What the hell hyung?

 

“H…Hi..there Haera-ah…” I said and blushed a little. Wait! The hell I am stuttering? Ah! this!

 

She smiled and then go back to her seat. Ahhh, what a day. Why the hell am I stuttering? Am I really that nervous? The kingka being nervous around a girl that he likes? This is so not me

 

“Why are you nervous?” hyung snapped in making me look at him with a “what the hell” face

 

“I am not hyung” I tried to defend myself as I know what exactly going on to me. Aishh, why is this girl making me like this? I never felt like this for anyone before. This is just too insane -,-

 

“You know that you’re bad at lying heh” Hyung smirked making me throw a sharp glare at him. He just chuckled and I frowned.

The cold breeze swiftly flew across me and I felt myself shaking a little. The weather indeed cold today and sooner I know it’s going to rain. I should quickly walk home. Hyung gave me one last advise before we headed home. He told me to suppress my feeling for her or else…haishh.. Hyung, it’s not that I don’t want to, I want to tell her so ing badly but I just can’t. Being a coward now huh Minhyuk? I let out a big sigh.

 

By then, I spotted someone while I was heading to my house. Hands in my pocket as I take times to recognize the figure. “Haera?” I breathed out. 

 

Oh well, we are neighbours. It’s not an awkward thing why she’s on this way either. I took my steps towards her and there is it again. The feeling. And I am being nervous again. Minhyuk, calm down, calm down. Don’t be like this.

 

“Haera-ah?” I spoken as I was just standing an inch behind her. She turned her head and then a smile plastered on her face. Waaaa, so shining. Minhyuk! Go back to reality!

 

“Minhyuk-ah?” she said.

 

“What are you doing walking alone?” I asked

 

“No friends.” She sighed

 

“Poor you. Hey, I can walk you home” I offered. Okay, now I sounds like someone who’s just randomly bumped into someone and then asked a straight forward question -.-

 

“Sure Minhyuk-ah. Why not. We’re neighbours moreover”

 

There was an awkward silence between us. I don’t know what topic should I bring in. I might sounds like an idiot if I just randomly start talking about stupid things. So I decided to keep quiet but feel a bit of wasting and disappointing too because we’re not talking

 

“Minyuk-ah, how come you be so quiet?” Haera broke the silence and she still sounds so calm

 

“eh? What?”

 

“You’re not the quiet type right? When I see you with your friends especially Eunkwang-ah. You’re like a 6 years old little kid” she giggled. Still, so adorable

 

“eh, that….emm…I’m just…a bit…nervous maybe” Oh snap! There I go again. Minhyuk, you really is an idiot

 

“nervous? With me?” she furrowed her brow.

 

“I..I guess….maybe…with girls”

 

“it’s weird to have that words came out from the kingka of our school. Beign nervous around girls. Well, I never expect that”

 

“You..just don’t know me very well then” I smiled sheepishly

 

“I guess so” she smiled

 

Then, I felt water dripping. I look up to the sky and darn, It’s raining cats and dogs. Soon going to rain heavily. I thought.

 

“It’s starting to rain” Haera said and glanced at me

 

“Yeah, let’s walk faster” I offered

 

We both tried to walk faster but it’s not a lucky day for me and her though, the rain started to pour heavily. Ah , the sky is crying now. I, without hesitation, pulled Haera’s hand to the nearest building. Under the roof there. The rain damped us a little. As I can feel myself soaking. I take a glance at the girl beside me and she was shivering. What a bad timing to rain.

 

I took off my blazer and put around her shoulder. Preventing her from the coolness.

 

“Thanks Minhyuk-ah” she said and I just smile

 

She was sneezing and the rain isn’t stopping yet. I started to feel cold as well but I can’t let Haera bear the coolness either

 

“Hey, you okay?” I asked. Sounded concerned

 

“Yes I am. Just sneezing”

 

I somehow, placed my hand on her head and ! She was burning! She’s having a fever. The rain must have been the cause to this

 

“You’re burning” I said and bit my lip

 

“I am fine Minhyuk-ah, don’t worry. Just…a little bit dizzy” she said. Her antibody isn’t strong. I don’t want her fever to lead into something worse. So, I pulled her close to my body and she was surprised

 

“Minhyuk-ah..what are you…”

 

“You’ll get worse.” She didn’t talk much but rested her head on my chest. Only with this, I can keep her warm right? Not to mention that I am nervous as hell! And my heart started to thump so fast as it was speeding

 

“How…how do you feel now?” I asked

 

“better” she smiled “thanks Minhyuk-ah”

 

I can’t take my eyes off her. As I just want to hold her like this without letting her go. My hand worked on it’s way to her face and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. She was stunning.

 

Our eyes locked together and her innocent face just inched from mine. I slowly lowered my head and in a sec, there was no gap between us anymore. My lips landed on her and I can sense that she was shocked from my action. Putting my hands on her shoulders and kissing her gently yet sweetly.

 

I pulled away minute later and I can tell that she was still shock. What the hell did I do just now?! God, what an idiot. I thought to myself

 

“You….you kissed me?” she was….clueless

 

“so..sorry..I shouldn’t…..”

 

“do you like me?” she asked

 

“eh?”

 

“Minhyuk-ah, do you like me?”

 

“I…I do. I like you Haera..a lot” I blushed and so did her

 

“I guess, it’s not only you who feel it, you might be happy if I tell you that your feeling was accepted” How can she be so adorable?

 

“You….you like me as well?” I looked at her. Her eyes…so shining

 

“What it looks like to you” she blushed

 

“will you be mine?”

 

“you don’t need to ask”

 

We both smiled and then we both shared another kiss

 

“You make me go insane . Lee Haera, I love you” I said under the kiss.
