IU lingered near the backstage exit of the stage.

Maybe Taeyang will come out and talk to me again, she thought. 

Taeyang started walking towards her direction, giving her a big broad smile as they inched closer and closer. 

He stopped in front of her and ruffled her hair affectionately. "You did great."

IU blushed. Taeyang took his hand off her head so she could fix her hair. 

She looked up and stuttered, "Y-y-you did great too!"

He laughed, and was about to say something when he was interrupted by the voice of Daesung behind him.

"Taeyang-ah!" he called, holding grocery bags full of what seemed to be junk food. He waved the bag around in the air, obviously calling Taeyang to join him in his ruining-of-health fest. 

Taeyang turned around and smiled at IU, signalling her to join them.

"Jieun, hurry up."

IU, nervous as hell, smiled and walked towards them.
