Your POV:
I sat down on my bed, thinking what Sekyung just said to me.

'You know what you should do.' Her words echoed through my mind.

I picked up the wallet next to me and opened it up.

A picture of Jonghyun and I were smiling happily together.

I smiled at our picture.

Maybe its time to let go?

I shouldn't be such a burden...

There's two more days till we go back to Korea. 

Maybe I should just tell them I quit, and then just... Just dissappear?

 

Jonghyun's POV:

I felt really distracted at work.

My mind was all about _____.

Should I really fire her?

I can't... She's my best friend!
I took a look at Onew hyung and sighed.

But she likes him.

Maybe I should just let her go, and let her disappear in Shinee's life.

I took a look at the calendar in my phone and found out that _______'s birthday will be coming in two days.

Right on the day we had to leave Japan.

How am I suppose to bring this up to her?

I scratched my head, feeling very frustrated.

'Yah hyung! Focus!' Key snapped at me as we continued the photoshoot.

 

Onew's POV:

After the photoshoot, I quickly fliip open my phone and text message ______.

 

'Are you feeling better?'

'mmm. I am.' 

'Wanna take a walk later at the park?'

'Sure... I'll wait for you there then.'

 

I hopped a little as ______ agreed to go on a walk with me.

Smiling really hard as I got onto the car, I requested to our manager.

'Hyung! Please stop me in front of the park.' 

'Where are you going?' Key asked as I got down the car.

'oh... I'm buying something. You guys go first. I'll catch up with you guys.' 

 

As I reached the park, _______ was standing there hands digging into her sweater.

'oh oppa!' She waved to me as I ran towards her.

'Mian. I'm a little late.' I smiled to her.

'Its okay. I just reached too.' 

And we both started strolling.

'Oppa...' She suddenly said.

'mmm?'

'I'm not trying to ruin the mood, but its so cold out here!' She laughed.

'Really? Oh no... You shouldn't get a cold again.' I said as I took my scarf out and wrapped it around her.

'This should keep you warm.' I smiled to her.

She blushed as we continued walking.

I kept peeking over to see if her hands were near mine.

And everytime I tried to grab her hands, my coward personality will rush out again, leaving me in confusion.

When I was about to go crazy, ______ suddenly took my hand.

I looked at her in surprised and she smiled at me.

'Oppa your hands are cold. Come, I'll give you these.' She mumbled as she handed me a hot pack from her pocket, and putting it into mine.

'Gomawo.' I smiled as I grabbed her hnd tighter and shoved it into my pocket.

Both of us blushed as we continued walking down the park.

Grabbing her hands tighter, I could feel my heart beat accelerating like crazy.

'Oppa...' She suddenly said.

'Hmm?' 

'Oppa. What if... What if I wasn't here at all?' 

'Mwoh? What are you saying?' I asked as we sat down on the long benches.

'What if I didn't appear? Do you think everyone would be in harmony now?' 

I thought silently and said.

'It would. But if you weren't here, I guess we won't have such great memories. Especially with you.' I pinched her nose.

'Don't you think I'm ... an extra?'  She said as she looked away, letting go of my hands.

'Why do you think this way?' I said, as I could feel her getting serious.

'ani... I just think maybe if I go..'

'You won't go.' I cut her words.

'Not with me around. I will never let you go. We still have got many places to go together. We have to visit my mom after this Japan trip, remember?' I said as I grabbed her hands again.

_______ just smiled at me as she pushed my hands lightly away.

'Promise me you'll never go.' I said as I gave her a hug.

_____ didn't reply, but just nodded lightly.

 

 

Jonghyun's POV:

As its a free and easy night, everyone had their plans.

Taemin and Minho wanted to shop, while Key and I decided to just lay around in the hotel.

Onew? He had disappeared.

As I lie down on my bed, Sekyung walked in.

'Oppa! You're not doing anything tonight?' 

I shook my head.

'Are you still troubled from what I told you last night?'

I took a look at Sekyung as she sat beside me.

'Don't worry oppa. You don't have to chase her away if you don't want to. I'm okay.' 

I sat up.

'Really?'

She nodded her head.

'Gomawo!' I said as I hugged her.

I suddenly felt relived, that I can keep _____ by my side.

 

Your POV:

Its the last night of the Japan trip, and the boys were all packing their bags.

I too, was still thinking about the matter that Sekyung was suggesting.

She had haunted me since yesterday. Telling me to do it right.

I woke up to my daydream as Key shook me.

'Yah... ______???' 

'Oh??'

'Are you done? If you are, quickly head to bed already.' He said as he put his bag down.

'oh... I'm done.' I said as I neatly arrange my shoes in front of my bed, and Key turned off the lights.

As I kept my eyes closed, i could feel my heart pouncing nervously.

How am I suppose to do this?

As I plugged onto my earphones and slept, the lights suddenly .

I opened my eyes to see what's happening, but I smiled.

The boys were all standing in front of my bed, holding onto a lit cake.

As they sang happy birthday to me, my smile wouldn't disappear.

I was about to cry when Key teased me.

'Eheh... You're touched aren't you?' He joked.

I nodded as I wipe off the tears.

'Noona! Today is the first time we're celebrating your birthday! And we're going to celebrate more in the future!' Taemin hugged me and cheered.

'That's right! We need you to celebrate our birthdays as well!' Minho joined in.

I look at Jonghyun, who was smiling widely.

'Happy birthday, _______. I hope we could celebrate together like this... Forever.' 

I looked at Jonghyun and was confused. What is he saying?

Sekyung, who was standing right beside him, nudged him,

'Ey, why are you saying like you're not going to celebrate anymore. Its a happy night! Let's eat!' She said as she stared at me.

And straightaway, I knew, that Jonghyun oppa was trying to act like he's happy because... Because he knew he was going to fire me afterall.

Onew sat on my bed and gave me a small hug, which caused everyone to teased us.

'______ ah. I hope we can be like this forever. I ... I love you.' He said as he put his hands on mine.

Shocked, I turned and took a look at Jonghyun oppa.

Seeing him smile, my heart dropped.

So he's really giving me up.

Pretending to smile, I climbed out of the bed and sat in on the floor with them.

As we gobbled down the cake, Sekyung suddenly said she needed to go to the toilet and pulled me along with her.

'Hey, so how is it going?' She ask me as she sat on the sink.

I bit my lips and said.

'I'm leaving tomorrow. Don't worry.' 

'Good.' She said as she open up the door, and pretended to be on good terms with me.

I played along as we sat back on the ground.

'hey thanks for tonight.' I said as everyone looked at me.

'I'll never forget tonight. Ever.' I said as I look into everyone's eyes.

Everyone of them had a smile on their face as they look at me.

I felt so guilty to not tell them.

But I can't .

As all of them left the room, Key went into the toilet to get a shower and Taemin sat on his bed.

'Hope you had fun with us.' He said as he tugged himself into his bed.

'Aren't you going to sleep noona?'

'mm. A while later. I need to do something first.' 

As Taemin went back to sleep, i took out a piece of paper and started writing.

'What are you writing?' Key suddenly popped out behind me.

I quickly covered it and looked at him in the reflection.

'errr... Nothing.' 

'Mwoyah... ' He pouted as he fought with me to see the paper.

 

 

Key's POV:

'What's this?' I look at her in anger.

_______ kept her gaze away from me.

'I ask you what's this?' I took her hands and led her out of the room.

'Oppa... Don't.' She shook my hands off.

'Why are you doing this?'

'Oppa. Its for all of us. Everyone will live better. Including me.' 

'You're so selfish.' I said, with tears in my eyes.

______ kept her head down as she kept apologizing.

'Please... Don't tell them. I don't want anybody to know.' 

'You're leaving us just like this? What if I didn't catch you doing this? You would also keep me in secret?'

I looked at the paper and attempted to tear it.

'AH HAJIMA!' She snatched the paper from me and kept it into her pocket.

'Give it back to me.'  I demanded from her.

'Oppa please give me a break!' She shouted.

'Because of Jonghyun oppa I'm getting tired! I don't want to have anything to do with you guys anymore. I want my old life back. So please oppa. Let me go.'

I was dumbfounded to hear her confession.

'You're lying. This is not true. What about Onew hyung?'

'He's just someone whom I fell in love with for a while.  A while only. I mistook his care for love. I don't... I don't like him at all.' She continued to lie.

'All of these are lies. You're not telling the truth, I can feel it. Tell me, who told you to do this?' 

'Oppa no one!' She said as she cried.

'I'm just trying to lead a new life here. Just let me go. Alright?' She said as she turned around.

I quickly hugged her from the back.

'Kajima.. ______ ah... I don't want you to go.' I cried.

'I like you. I really like you... Don't leave, okay?' 

______ pushed my arms away.

'Mian oppa. Its too late.' 

 

Key'sPOV:

As i enter the room, I found ______ sitting on the bed.

I ignored her as I walked to my own bed.

'Oppa.' She whispered.

'Please ... keep this as a secret until i leave.'

I turn to her.

'Do you think I would?'

She kept quiet as she look at me.

'I would. If you promise to stay in contact. I want to have a date with you too. You know how jealous am I when I see you with Onew hyung?'

She smiled.

'Gomawo, oppa.'

 

 

Your POV:

It was 6 am in the morning as we gathered at the lobby with our stuff.

'Let me help you with that.' Key said as he reached out for my luggage.

'Gomawo oppa.'  I mumbled and gave him a sweet smile.

He gave me a reassuring smile as he pulled my luggage down to the bellboy.

'Everyone here?' The manager said.

'NEH!' Everyone replied.

'Ok. Everyone get up the car, except for ______. You'll sit the staff van.' 

'Waeyo?' Onew asked as he came towards me.

'Why must she sit the staff van?' 

'Sekyung's sitting with us to the airport.' Manager said as he got onto the car.

'Its okay. Oppa. I'll sit the staff van.' I said as I let go of Onew's hand.

'Okay.' He pouted and let go of my hands.

As I drag my luggage to the staff van, Sekyung past by me.

'So... I assume this is our last time meeting, right.' She said as she look at me.

'mmm. I won't appear anymore.' I assured her.

As she walk into the car, Key came up front and gave me a small hug.

'Is this goodbye?' He asked.

'I'm afraid so...' I said as I let go of him.

'Take care and remember to call me.' He said.

'Oppa. Take this with you. Give it to them when they're on the plane or whenever I'm not there.' I smiled as I passed him a plastic bag.

'Arasso. Bye.' He said as he walk back to his car.

I sighed as I got onto the van.

 

Key's POV:

'Mwoyah igeo?' Onew hyung tried to peek the plastic bag as I climbed into the car.

'AEYYY. Just take care of your stuff.' I snapped at him.

He turned around and took a look at the van, and waved enthusiastically to ______.

I turn around and took a look at her, giving her a last wave.

As the trip to airport was long, I found myself dozing off.

 

 

Onew's POV:

I'm so hungry.... What's there to eat? 

I look around the car and found Minho and Taemin playing with their laptops, Jonghyun listening to songs, and Key... Sleeping.

I looked over at his plastic bag.

Didn't _____ gave it to him just now?

Is it food?

Losing his grip on the plastic bag, I took a look.

'YAH KIM KIBUM!!!' I shouted at Key and everyone got startled.

'oh? Mwoh???' Key yawned as he woke up.

'What are you doing?' Key snapped at me as he tried to snatch the plastic bag from me.

'What's this?!' I threw it into his face.

 

Jonghyun's POV:

Minho picked up the piece of letter from Key's lap.

'Oh? Its a letter. From... ______???' 

I straighten my seat when I heard that.

'Read it.' I said.

 

'Dear Shinee members, 

           Firstly, thank you for letting me be a part of your family. I really loved you guys. Honestly, the reason why I joined you is because of Jonghyun oppa.

 I can't deny, I really missed him so much and was really excited to stay with him. I thought with him by my side, I could have him for the rest of my life, but I knew now, that its never going to happen.

I would like to thank Onew oppa, whom made my heart flutter. I'm sorry, I can't keep the promise. Please forgive me...  And to Taeminnie, even though you're the maknae, please don't be a baby anymore! And stop messing up your own room! I'm not there to help you anymore... You have to be independent from now on. 

          To Minho, thanks for teaching me how to play all of your cool sports and dances. Even though I might look like an octopus, you would still teach me slowly and never raise your voice before.

And lastly, Key oppa. 

Thanks for keeping this as a secret. Thanks for letting me go. I'm really sorry for not telling you guys earlier.

I just don't know how to.

 

I won't be contacting you guys that soon, I'll be travelling in Japan. 

I hope to see you guys shining brightly on TV.

'This is ridiculous... Where is she?!' I shouted as I looked behind.

The van isn't behind us anymore.

Where did she go?!

'Stop the car and turn back hyung!!' I told my manager as I panicked.

'Oppa...' Sekyung stopped me and shook her head.

'You... YOU DID THIS DIDN'T YOU?!' Onew shouted at Sekyung, tears coming out from his eyes.

'Mianhe, Oppa. Its for everyone.'

'I think its only for you.' Key mumbled as she crossed his arms.

'Why? I thought you said...' I took Sekyung's hands and she shook it away.

'Wae? Now its my fault? Oppa! What is it that she has that makes you guys so attracted to her?'

'Jjong oppa! I love you as much as she does! But why am I being the bad person here?! This is unfair!' Sekyung cried as she sat on her seat, pouting.

The whole car was chaotic.

My head went really dizzy.

_____ left?

How could she?

'Find her back! Or else...' Onew mumbled as he wipe off his tears.

'Hyungs. Don't be like this.' Key said as he handed boxes to us.

On a blue box, labelled my name, I opened it up.

Its a snow globe. 

My tears came out when I saw my name floating around in it, with her name stuck on the bottom.

A little note was pasted on the bottom of the box, and I opened it up.

 

'Oppa, I'm changing. I don't want to be your best friend anymore. I want to be your no.1 fan. Oppa's fan. I'll watch you everyday. I promise.' 

 

Onew's POV:

I wiped off my tears as I opened up my box.

It was the bunny keychain and the golden ring I gave her.

As I took it up, I read the note pasted on the box.

'Oppa. Thanks for giving me so much memory. I love you oppa. You made my heart beat whenever you smile. Stay happy. I hope you'll find your true love soon. I'm sorry and forgive me...'

 

I smiled as I put the golden ring through my bunny's ears and loop it up, and then hooking onto my phone.

I'll never forget you ______...

Tears went down as our cars turned the opposite direction.

Its goodbye now oppas.

As I got down the van, the stylist handed me an envelope.

I opened it up to find some yen and a note in it.

'Hyung! Look look!!!' Taemin shouted at Onew as they walked down the streets, with caps and masks on.

'Oh? A rabbit!' He exclaimed as he stood outside the pet store, bending down to pet it.

He took out his phone and showed the bunny to it.

'Yah rabbit. Doesn't this look like you?' 

He could still remember you. How could he even forget?

Its been 2 years since you contacted them, and they didn't forget about you at all.

Its just that they were busy for these two years.

And you didn't broke your promise either.

You went to visit Onew's mother when he's in Sm town in Paris, back home where Jonghyun and you lived once together, and also, watch them everyday whenever they had performance.

You read the news that Sekyung has broken up with Jonghyun. But that didn't make you go back.

Because you know that in your heart, Onew stands the most.

He would mention you whenever he's on a talk show, and you really appreciate that.

 

As you walk down the streets near to your house, You saw a crowd of fans, shouting.

'AHHHHHHH! SHINNEEEEEEEE OPPA!!!!'

Your heart missed a beat when you saw Onew and Jonghyun walking towards their dorm.

Tears started forming in your eyes as you watch them walking in.

You missed them, but you promised yourself you wouldn't.
