Hitomi is radiant. She’s always been beautiful and radiant like the sun, but today she looks especially, devastatingly radiant. Even the sun hanging on the sky pales in comparison to the bright smile Hitomi is beaming her.
“You look extremely happy, love.” Minjoo can’t help but point out, smiling herself as she tucks a strand of golden hair behind her ear. Hitomi giggles at the light contact, fondly rubbing her cheek at Minjoo’s warm hand. “What’s the occasion?”
“I believe I should share this news to you first,” her wife says, still smiling so happily. “You’re going to be a Sire, Minjoo.”
Minjoo stopped breathing. The smile on her face stiffens.
“Great,” Minjoo says, jaw clenching. “Whose child is it?”
“Pardon?”
“The child, Hitomi,” Minjoo sneers, backing away, all while she points her finger at Hitomi’s belly. “Who did you spend the night with, hmm?”
