Espresso Shots"Are you even going to order?"
Hearing the impatient tone rolling out from Minjoo's mouth, Chaewon instantly snaps her eyes up to her date, glaring daggers and clicking her tongue. Her eyes are narrowed, showing disdain as she slowly places the menu back on top of the table. "Can't you see that I'm still reading the menu? You have your own menu. Just order first."
Minjoo snorts, huffing as she raises her hand, calling a waitress over to their table. She's not as enchanting as the woman sitting on the seat across her, but the blonde woman is definitely cute and got that certain charm that makes Minjoo's jaw goes slack and her gaze goes unfocused.
"Hello, are you ready to order?"
"I—I'll uh, Chaewon unnie, is it alright if I order first?" Minjoo stutters out, gulping. The waitress—Hitomi, as the name embroidered on her uniform suggests—nods, taking out her pen and preparing her note, also beaming a smile when the other woman glances up at her. "Right. Uh. I'm going to order the steak—medium—and tomato juice."
Hitomi nods, her smile grows slightly wider in approval as she writes down her order. "Fantastic. The steak here is great, let me tell you. And how about you, miss?"
"The specials," Chaewon answers her with a slight narrow of her eyes. Hitomi looks unbothered and jots them down before repeating their orders and excused herself.
