Ever since Shinhye and Minsoo told me about Hyejin being taken away by a werewolf, I hadn't been able to get it out of my head.

Why would anyone do that?

Surely not just for... uh- their needs. Because they can get plenty of others to take their um... needs to.

Why abduct someone?

What if she ran a werewolf the wrong way and he was punishing her?

A shiver went up my spine.

Although I wasn't like anybody else from my town who were scared and downright hated wolves.

To me, they were hu- er, creatures too.

True, they were different and dangerous but they didn't harm anyone without a reason. Nobody does.

Humans weren't that great either if you thought about that.

Years of bias and prejudice had forced werewolves to separate themselves from us, yet still were considered taboo to be talked about freely.

"What are you thinking?," My mom asked, frowning.

"Well? Who is it?"

I looked uncomfortably at my younger brother who was busy stuffing his face.

"They said it's a werewolf--"

My sentence was cut by my mother's gasp and father's abrupt standing.

"Uh- I'm going to go into my study now," he said and walked away while my mother sat back and continued to eat pretending this conversation never happened. Although her hands were trembling.

I exhaled and picked my dishes up, carrying them to the sink.

Well I guess I won't get any answers from them.

"Mom!," I called and she visibly shook. "I'm going to work."

And today was the first day she didn't nag me about the whereabouts of my workplace.

"One shot of tequila, baby girl," the drunk man said and I smiled.

"My name is y/n," I said and poured him the tequila.

He didn't seem to hear me as he was busy trying to look down my button down shirt.

I rolled my eyes.

You can't see anything with a collar high up my , bro.

"Y/n," my manager called me.

"Y
