Moon Byul-Yi's POV
I lightly shook my head as soon as I picked up the conversation that my subordinates were having on their way to a neighboring town in Munsan. I was switching the frequencies of the police radio when my partner got into the car. "Did you get everything?" I asked her. She gave me a light nod at the same time she put on her seatbelt. We were busy profiling potential criminals for various cases, as usual, the moment I received a text on my beeper.
Our superior unexpectedly excused us for the rest of the day. "So, after this, what's your plan?" Shi-Ah asked me. I unconsciously followed her lingering gaze and mine soon fell on the glove compartment. She probably referred to the paperwork I put there earlier. "I don't know," I answered her as I once again fumbled with the frequencies of the police radio. She huffed at me for my vague answer. I feigned a smile. Who I am, hours ago, it's my dream.
