Chanwoo hates it.

He hates how he must be the first to notice anything different, especially when it comes to s. He hates how he automatically feels obligated to do something to help them when he has no idea what on earth he should be doing. Chanwoo hates it.

But he hates seeing any one of them being in pain way much more.

Chanwoo watched Junhoe from the corner of his eyes. The older maknae was obviously thinking things he shouldn't be. He had watched the other hyungs trying to cheer him up, all of them ended up failing. Chanwoo pouts at that thought. Junhoe wasn't the type to show his emotional state openly. So when Chanwoo saw him tearing up a bit at the press conference, he could feel his heart breaking. Where did the free spirited Junhoe who doesn't care for anything went?

So when Chanwoo saw Junhoe scrolling through his phone and reading what the maknae was very certain was an article, he quickly approached the troubled boy without hesitating.

"You know reading those kind of things won't help, right?" Chanwoo placed his hand on Junhoe's shoulder. Junhoe looked up to see the maknae looking surprised. Out of all the members he didn't expect Chanwoo to look after him let alone care about him.

"I just.. can't help it." Junhoe admitted giving the youngest a shrug. The emptiness was clearly shown in his face and Chanwoo wanted to do anything to get rid of it. It doesn't suit the loud and cheerful Junhoe. "Well stop it. Do something else more productive" Chanwoo told him. If things weren't as bad as it was now, Junhoe would have probably giggled. Chanwoo really doesn't want to show that he cares when Junhoe knows he does, and Junhoe was glad.

"What should I do then?" Junhoe asked. "Play some games with me?" Junhoe rolled his eyes at the younger's offer. "I didn't know playing games count as being productive now" Junhoe replied. Chanwoo was glad that at least the sarcastic Junhoe was back. He was really glad that he lets out a slight sigh of relief.

Seeing Chanwoo in that state, Junhoe couldn't help but smile for a second before he got back to reality. "How could I do anything when I feel so so guilty." Junhoe finally blurted out surprising Chanwoo. He then immediately sat next to Junhoe as close as possible while tapping the other's hand and holding them in assurance.

"Hey.. it's okay to make mistakes. As long as you apologize for it and learn from them, okay? You've apologized way more than enough." Chanwoo said smiling at him. Junhoe smiled back but he then shakes his head disagreeing with what the younger has said.

"It's not that. I just feel bad that this happened right before the comeback and iKON's reputation is at risk because of.. me." He explained wholeheartedly. Chanwoo was surprised it didn't took him long to tell him how he feels, but he was honoured that Junhoe trusted him well enough to do that.

"You kidding? Haven't you heard that Goodbye Road reached #1? The fans are still by our side, Junhoe-yah" Chanwoo countered disagreeing with what Junhoe has said. Junhoe smiled at him. "But still.." Junhoe replied not intending to continue his words. Chanwoo raised his eyebrows.

The youngest then grabs his phone as he searched for something Junhoe has no idea about. A couple moments later Chanwoo started to open his mouth to say something.
