where did bravo go?#007: shots
"the same as you, i guess; i can't sleep."
Sejeong was dabbing at the sweat dripping down her jaw when the elevators opened to reveal Daniel, striding in with a pair of aviators perched on his nose and smile adorning his face. “Theres a cafe that opened just a few blocks down, wanna come?” The question was directed towards the girl as Daniel leaned against the rack of weights, arms crossed loosely in front of his chest.
Sejeong had just finished her very first gym session after recovering completely, and even though Shownu said he would go easy on her, he didn’t do so exactly, and the girl was absolutely worn out. However, this fatigue wasn’t about to stop her from getting a refreshing cup of iced coffee, and she thought that the company wouldn’t be that bad either.
“Sure thing.” She answered with a toothy grin as she picked up her bottle and got to her feet.
Daniel stepped away from the rack before glancing to the back of the gym. “Hey, Hun! Do you want anything? We’re going to get some coffee.”
Sejeong glanced in the same direction, looking at the said male wiping some sweat dripping off his raised brow as he glanced back at them with an unamused gaze. Sejeong thought that he must’ve been exhausted from the day’s workout, but she did have to admit that his biceps were in rather good shape.
“No thanks, I’m good.” Sehun replied in a clipped voice as he focused on the punching bag again, giving it a loud strike that echoed throughout the large gym. The girl furrowed her brows as she her heel, allowing Daniel to place a hand on the small of her back as they both made their way to the elevator.
“Give me fifteen minutes to change and wash up. I’ll meet you at the lobby?” Sejeong gazed towards Daniel as they both reached the 88th floor.
Reaching out and flicking the bun on the top of Sejeong’s head, Daniel gave a gummy smile and nod, before she stepped out of the elevator and the elevator went zooming down to the first floor.
Sejeong didn’t like to keep people waiting, and she was rummaging through her closet, looking for what to wear in 20 seconds flat.
“Are you going somewhere?” Momo mused from her bed as she paused the movie she was watching and swung her legs off the bed, looking at the frantic Sejeong amusedly.
“I’m just going to get coffee with Daniel- does this look ok?” Sejeong raised a pale blue wrap dress to her front.
“Is it a date?” Momo teased as she got to her feet and strode towards the closet.
“I’ll just wear this then. It’s fine, right?” a frazzled Sejeong questioned, as she hurriedly undid the topknot on her head.
“Do you like him?” Momo ignored Sejeong’s question once again as she pulled out a pair of matching white sneakers and a small brown purse.
The bathroom door had slammed shut as a response, and Momo could only purse her lips at the shut door.
Sejeong took exactly 17 minutes to get ready. Rushing into the lobby, she clipped her left earring on, right as she stopped in front of Daniel, resting against the pillar nearby to collect her breath.
“You look this good in 15 minutes? Imagine an hour.” Daniel whistled teasingly as he brushed a stray lock of hair behind her ear. Despite his cool and sleek exterior, his heart was in fact, beating hard in his chest, and he sure hoped that his face wasn’t betraying that fact.
Sejeong had merely lowered her head and gave a faint smile before Daniel gently placed his palm on the small of her back and guided her out the lobby doors.

The elevator doors slid open with Sejeong doubling over with laughter as she walked out, a box of popcorn tucked under her left arm and the right raised, aiming a piece of popcorn at Daniel. “Last time! This is your last chance!” The girl let out a hearty chuckle as the popcorn went flying into the air and straight into Daniel’s open mouth.
“Hell yeah!” The male fist-pumped the air as the two went into another fit of chuckles and giggles, not at all noticing the amused look Wonwoo was giving them, and the deadly glare coming from Sehun.
“You guys seemed to have had a lot of fun.” Wonwoo smirked, closing the book that he was reading and tossing it on the glass coffee table. “A bit too much fun for a mere coffee run.” Wonwoo propped his arms on his knees as he raised his brows at the two hovering behind the love seat. Sehun too, had their eyes on them, albeit with a small frown hanging on his face. He didn’t like how Daniel was standing a tad too close to Sejeong, or how the girl looked completely at ease at the proximity. He just didn’t like the entire situation, at all.
“Well you guys must be pretty beat.” Wonwoo tilted his head to the side as he slowly got up from the couch, stretching his arms above his head. “And I’m beat too. Goodnight people,” he slowly made his way towards the stairs, “have sweet dreams, of me.”
Daniel made a gagging sound, which Sejeong proceeded to reply with a chuckle of her own. This only made Sehun’s frown deepen.

Perhaps it was how Wonwoo always kept the room a little too warm, or that he was still bugged by his thoughts and feelings of frustration, but Sehun felt that a shot of whiskey would effectively clear his mind; maybe two, or even three. Trodding down the stairs in only his pyjama pants, Sehun couldn’t be bothered with turning on the lights, as he padded quietly towards the bar at the end of the room. Reaching out towards the shelves, he had however, almost dropped the bottle and went flying toward the floor, as a girlish yelp resounded out.
“Oh my god, B.I..H. there is an intru-”, Sejeong’s rushed words were cut short when Sehun had quickly regained his balance and slapped his large palm to her lips. “Seriously? Why are you sitting here of all places, and at this godforsaken hour?” Sehun released his hand and rolled his eyes as Sejeong’s eyes widened in realisation and she cleared , trying to hide her embarrassment.
It was short-lived though, when she realised the entirety of the situation that she was in- seated right next to a half- male, a bottle of Jack in his hand and an array of chips and snacks scattered all around them, courtesy of a rather hungry Sejeong.
The girl leaned away from the male and narrowed her eyes, clutching the can of beer that she was drinking to her chest. “I can ask you the same; what are you doing here?” Her tone was accusatory, yet it was just a cover-up for the slither of embarrassment that was still coursing through her veins and heating up her face. Sehun simply shrugged his shoulders and reached up toward the counter for two shot glasses. “The same as you, I guess; I can’t sleep.”
