It was a sweet and early morning. The sun, rising in the east beaming down and welcoming the new day. The birds sang a breath-taking melody to the backdrop of bustling traffic beginning to pick up as the morning commute had sent to begin. However, the pristine serenity would all be broken with one loud shrill and pitchy scream

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” a voice that belonged to none other than Im Nayeon rang throughout her shared apartment as she stood up on her couch in fear whilst armed with a spatula. Her opponent was nothing but a mere little cockroach that wouldn’t have been the size of her little pinky

“What is it this time” another deeper more gruffled voice spoke out as another bedroom door was opened. This male was Im Taeyeon, the younger twin, whose first reaction was to scoff at the sight of his sister frantically waving a spatula about in the air. His eyes darted down to see her attacker causing him to face palm and sigh, before effortlessly picking it up and setting it free into the world

“It’s gone” Taeyeon said bluntly as he pulled his tiny sister of the couch

“Ohhhh thank god. I was totally gonna die in like a minute” Nayeon said dramaticly as she sat up on the kitchen bench and motioned her head towards the kitchen. These were orders for the other to make breakfast

“No” the taller male simply said bluntly

“Yah! I’m the older twin” Nayeon said while hopping down and acting authoritative before slowly looking up at him as she only could reach his chest

“45 seconds does not count” Taeyeon said looking down at her emphasizing that they weren’t even a minute apart in birth time

“Still older~~~” Nayeon proceeded to tease

“But you’re totally shorter~~” He shut her down using the 20cm in height difference they had to annoy her

“Shut up and make breakfast ” Nayeon said as her pale figure reddened with annoyance

Chuckling with victory, Taeyeon made his way leisurely taking out a few items necessary to make the pair French toast to start the day. This was a normal occurrence for the pair seeing as Taeyeon could actually cook whilst Nayeon on the other hand, she could barely figure out which side of the knife to use.

“I’m so thankful that you are my brother” Nayeon exclaimed as the food was placed in front, to which he replied with nothing more than a disgruntled grunt

During their meal Nayeon looked up to her brother and gave him a sly smile. He sighed already in defeat knowing that his smile would definitely cause him trouble. “You know…… how we have that spare room” She began, to which he gave her a look to continue, “And you spent those 2 years in Japan”

“What has that got to do with our spare room?” Taeyeon replied with a dumbfound look

“Well I signed you up to be a Korean tutor and we are gonna rent that room out to our new exchange student” Nayeon stood up and declared causing her brother to give her a blank ‘what the ****’ look

“You… isn’t this exploitment” Taeyeon said as he was at a loss for words

“Bingo~” Nayeon said as she winked at him “We finally make use of this room, get paid for it, you put those language skills to use…. and we get a hot roommate”

“I’m going to tell the school not to go through with your crap” Taeyeon said as he stood up and picked up with his phone

“You can’t~” Nayeon said cheerily “Our lovely roommate is on her way as we speak” as the door bell rang on cue “She’s here” Nayeon said laughing

Finally giving up, Taeyeon sighed as he begrudgingly moved towards the door to open it “Hello ther…..” Taeyeon said as he looked awestruck by the beautiful figure at their threshold. Her demure figure and elegance was enchanting as she nervously looked inside brushing her long red hair bag

“She here…… wow she is hot” Nayeon said before hitting her brothers head “Let the girl in ” as she pushed him out and bought her in “Hello Hello. I’m Nayeon and I will be your awesome new roommate”

The girl nodded nervously “Ummm I--- my name is Myoui Mina” the redheaded girl said with a clear accent due to her lack of Korean skill

“wow…. So cute” Nayeon said fangirling before realizing something else she needed to do “Oh yeah, that idiot there is my brother. He can speak Japanese and will be your Korean tutor” she said before her turning to him “Introduce yourself ”

“ah yeah” Taeyeon said gathering himself and speaking Japanese “Hello my name is Taeyeon and I will also be your roommate and your Korean teacher…… um let’s get your stuff and get you settled” he said as he grabbed her stuff and lead her into her room “well umm this is your room…. I guess I’ll give you time to get settled…” he said before he was cut off by the door closing

“Okay I will be honest you don’t have to teach me Korean” Mina said all of a sudden in perfect Korean

“ehh you speak perfectly”

“Yes I do. I actually signed up for a different reason” She continued “I have a crush on your sister”

“……..wha----” Taeyeon honestly had no clue what was going on

“What I’m saying is help me seduce your sister” Mina said approaching him with a determined expression

Taeyeon sighed thinking ‘what the **** have I gotten into’ as he ended up agreeing while praying this was a dream
