“Hey, wake up.” You softly shook Chunji.

            He stirred in his sleep.      

            “Yah,” you pulled the covers off of him. “If you don’t wake up soon, we’re both going to be late for school.”

            He sat up lazily and rubbed his eyes.

            “Here,” You threw a towel at him.

            After he showered, you gave him some extra clothes.

            “Why do you have boy clothes?” he tilted his head at you.

            “Just because,” you kept a straight face and shrugged, “Sometimes I like wearing boy clothes at home. It’s comfy.”

            He nodded his head.

            “Now I have a question for you: Why are you interested in me?”

            “I’m not interested in you in that type of way. I like Noonas.”

            “So why do you-”

            “Is it a crime to get to know someone?” he interrupted.

            You cleared your throat, “Let’s go. We’re going to be late.”

            “Do you really think you can win this bet?” Sungjong took a bite of his apple.

            “Yah, I’m the Nam Woohyun. I can do anything,” He tried sounding as confident as he could, but on the inside he felt self-doubting.

            “I don’t think you can.” Sungyeol scratched his head nervously.

            “She’s the only girl that has rejected you. Not once, but twice.” Sungjong held up two fingers

            “I think it’s been more than that.” Sungyeol laughed.

            “Woohyun might actually lose.”

            Woohyun looked at Myungsoo, “I won’t lose.”

            “Veronica, can you help me with this?” Woohyun pushed his paper over to you.

            ‘Easy.’ you thought and did the problem for him. You gave him back the paper.

            “Can you explain it to me?” he pushed it over again.

            “Hey what’s this?”, “How do you do that?”, “I don’t get this,” were all that came out of Woohyun’s mouth during class.

            “Are you that stupid?” you started getting annoyed with all the questions.

            “How do you do this?” he responded.

            You sighed. It was going to be a long class period today.

            “Veronica!”  

            ‘Crap, it’s him again.’ You bit your lip nervously and walked faster.

            “Hey, wait up!” he quickened his steps.

            You increased your walking speed some more as you turned a corner.

            “Veron- Hey, where did she go?” he scratched his head as he turned the same corner and couldn’t find you. “That’s weird. I just saw her.”

            You took a shortcut to the cafeteria in hopes Woohyun wouldn’t find you.

            Poking your head behind the wall, your eyes scanned the cafeteria in case Woohyun was there.

            “What are you doing?” a voice whispered in your ear.

            You gasped and turned around with your hand against your chest.

            Woohyun stepped back a bit shocked, “Woah dude, you okay?”

            You blew your bangs, “No I’m not okay! You nearly scared the life out of me!”

            He laughed.

            “What do you want, Woohyun? You’ve been bugging me all day.”

             “Wanna eat lunch with-”

             “No.” you said bitterly and walked into the cafeteria as he trailed behind you.

            You turned around and he stopped. You walked more as he began following behind. You turned around and he stopped again. You walked slowly, looking to the side, ready to catch him following you. You quickly stopped and turned around, but it was the same thing. He looked up and down, side to side, whistling, acting like nothing was going on.

            “Yah, stop following me,”

            “I’m not following you, I’m just getting lunch.” He brushed past you, smiling.

            You looked at him weirdly, ‘What the hell….’
