December 12th
A Wish Upon A Shooting StarOkay, so Kim Jonghyun might have developed a tiny crush on Lee Jinki. No big deal right? He can just ignore it until...until he no longer had to take care of him. Yes, and until then, Jonghyun will continue to be a good friend, a shoulder to cry on, and a pillar of comfort for he older. He's not gonna be a lover, a boyfriend, or any synonyms to those two words.
That was the mantra that Jonghyun had told himself all throughout the morning. But now, here he was, standing outside Jinki's door again, never having been less certain about a certain statement. Jinki opened the door only seconds after Jonghyun had knocked, as if he had been expecting him, which he probably had.
“Hey.” Jinki said. His greeting now was far less formal than it had been just 2 weeks ago when Jonghyun started working there. But his smile had gotten impossibly bigger every time he saw him.
Jonghyun walked into the apartment, which he had now grown familiar with.
“Do you wanna watch a movie or somethings?” Jinki asked.
“Are you gonna fall asleep like last time?” Jonghyun .
“I was tired okay, I'm not tired right now. So no.” Jinki whined playfully. Jonghyun felt his heart beat faster.
They both laid down on Jinki's bed after having started the movie. They were considerably closer than the last time, but still not close enough to be touching each other.
It seemed like Jinki had lied before though.
About 40 minutes into the movie, Jonghyun suddenly felt a weight on his shoulder, almost scaring the life out of him. He looked to the side, but only saw a mop of brown hair.
Jinki had literally fallen asleep on his shoulder. Jonghyun was practically having a panic attack on the inside, but managed to contain it, out of fear of waking Jinki from his, admittedly adorable, sleep.
Jonghyun gently tried lowering Jinki onto the bed without waking him up. But just as he thought he had succeeded, he accidentally dropped Jinki's head on a pillow, immediately waking the older.
“Did I fall asleep again? I'm sorry, Jonghyun.” Jinki apologized.
“Don't be sorry. If you're tired, you should just say so.” Jonghyun hurriedly said.
“Let's just finish the movie.” Jinki said, sitting back up. And so they did. Jonghyun glanced over at Jinki every now and then, noticing the older slowly dozing off again and again.
The movie, which ahead actually not been that great, ended.
“I should probably get going.” Jonghyun said.
“Why don't you stay a bit? It's not like I have anything better to do.” Jinki said. Jonghyun looked at him for a second.
“Go to sleep, you're tired.” Jonghyun advised him. “Get a good night's sleep tonight, and I won't leave this early tomorrow.”
“Fine. Have a nice evening.” Jinki said, before Jonghyun walked out of the door. The sun was shining outside, but it seemed like it would rain soon.
