A sigh escaped Chaeyoung's lips as soon as she saw the rose beside her.

Another day, another rose.

This is the first thing she sees the moment she opens her eyes every single day and she's thankful. Each and every rose that was given to her reminded her that she has this certain girl to look after and love wholeheartedly. All of the roses (both rotting and not) came from one girl,

Myoui Mina

"A breathtaking human being" is a way to describe the girl that Chaeyoung owns. 

She stares into the rose placed right beside her with an adorable grin only to be disturbed by another rose slowly planted alongside it. She flinched and quickly looked up to see who the intruder was but was really not that surprised to see her girlfriend.

I mean, who'd do it aside from her dear partner

The grin plastered earlier only became wider as she looks at the girl in front of her,

"Good morning, Chaeng." The girl says paired with a small amount of white chilly smoke coming out from . It was a cold morning for the town. Mina's nose became red and she was sniffing a lot since it was getting runny. Her lips pale and freezing, her hands tightly wrapped around each other and her whole body quivered.

Chaeyoung couldn't help but smile yet she felt sad seeing her love suffer the cold weather just to give her a rose. Well two roses actually.

"You know, you don't have to give me flowers everyday." She looked at Mina whose head was currently hanging low. "In fact, some of the roses you gave to me a few days ago are already...dying" she continued, now looking at the mentioned flowers. 

It was piling up and no one really bothered to pick the dying ones up (not even herself).

"Happy Anniversary, baby." Mina looks at the roses (both dying and not) which were placed beside Chaeyoung's place. She didn't even bother to reply to Chaeyoung's statement 

Oh...

"I-is this why y-you gave me two this time?" Chaeyoung muttered.

She didn't remember

Of course she wouldn't

She'd only remember the recent happenings

Mina chuckled bitterly and bit her lower lip, trying her best not to let the tears flow out of her eyes.

"I'm sure you're listening to me carefully, Chaeng. I-" her voice starts to shake and she felt a sudden lump on .

A tear escaped from her eyes and it broke Chaeyoung's heart. She wanted to scoot over and just wipe that tear off her beautiful face but she somehow couldn't. Chaeyoung frowned at the thought.

She wanted to do it but couldn't 

Maybe it's because that she really can't do anything about the whole situation

It was overwhelming really

Before, the only thing Chaeyoung knew was that the moment she opened her eyes one day, she knew she was back to zero

No memories 

No information 

No nothing

As if she was born again

But she knew the girl

She knew that Mina was hers based on the things that the girl would tell her...

Chaeyoung knew everything about her when she started to visit her regularly and talk to her about how she loved Mina so much and all

It was too much (new) information to Chaeyoung the first time she visited her and how she would blabber about their "relationship"

But she tried her best to understand and damn 

She was right

She was and still is in love with the weeping girl

Even though she knew nothing, when Mina visited her for the first time and Chaeyoung saw her, she felt that the girl was special (only to be proven by the information that Mina would remind or retell her)

"-I...I miss y-you so much, baby" Mina sobs and Chaeyoung can only stare at her crying yet still dazzling eyes .

Mina never looked at her directly in her eyes

She couldn't 

She couldn't even see her

She could only see her beloved Chaeyoung's tombstone

And Chaeyoung can only sit near her own tombstone to wait for Mina to visit her and tell her new things (for her) about their past relationship and when she's finally there, she expects to see a rose beside her and a new story to ponder about.
