Those two are cuddling in the couch again.

Granted, there’s only the three of us left in the dorm today because Yerim had to go to school and Sooyoung had a solo schedule to attend. But there’s still me. 

Then again, they’ve been acting more relaxed around me ever since the ISAC incident last week. It’s as if they didn’t really care if I catch them doing couply stuff. I wonder if this is Seulgi’s doing because she still thinks that I’m going for Joohyun-unnie. Just yesterday, I caught Joohyun-unnie hanging off Seulgi’s back like a giant attractive leech while the latter was attempting to cook some ramyun after our schedule.

I observe them for a minute longer, watching as Joohyun-unnie whisper something to Seulgi’s ear that causes them both to giggle and bump their noses against each other. I stop myself before I accidentally make loud gagging noises at the sight. Those two really don’t have subtlety. 

Instead, I silently close the door to my room that I share with Seulgi (even if she spends half the time sleeping in Joohyun-unnie’s room anyway) and proceed to blast some loud music to alert them that I’m awake. I make a show of jiggling the doorknob for ten seconds before stepping outside, giving them enough time to compose themselves in case they were actually making out.

I glance at them, rubbing my eyes to pretend like I just woke up. They’re sitting a few feet apart now, but Joohyun-unnie’s hair is messed up and Seulgi’s shirt is crumpled. Yup, they definitely made out. I would probably feel more apologetic for interrupting them if I wasn’t in dire need of a bathroom break.

“Good morning,” I greet them as I pass by, noting that they’re both still slightly breathless and looking guilty.

I hear them mumble the greeting back as I dash for the bathroom. I’ll deal with them later.

“Seungwan, are you staying here today?” Joohyun-unnie asks me as I eat some pancakes that unnie made for me.

I glance up at her. She’s sitting by the counter observing me with a small smile and waiting for my answer. It’s an innocent question, but I see Seulgi’s hair poking out from the hallway which means she’s eavesdropping on our conversation. In conclusion, they probably want to be alone in the dorm today and they want to know if I’m leaving.

I contemplate my answer. On one hand, I really don’t like leaving the dorm that much since I’m a bit of a homebody. On the other hand, Locobonita is scheduled to sell the new arrivals of their line today and I’d really like to check out the new dresses.

“I might go out in a bit since I’ll be buying some clothes,” I answer and I see Joohyun-unnie’s smile widen just a tiny bit. My theory is definitely correct, then. Especially when I spy Seulgi’s hair jumping up and down along the hallway.

“I see,” Joohyun-unnie comments, nodding along as if I just said the most interesting thing.

“How about you, unnie?” I ask.

“I’ll stay here for today,” she replies and I nod. Of course she would.

Guess I’ll take my trip to Locobonita today.

Four hours and three new dresses later, I make my way back to the dorm. I punch our floor on the elevator and walk towards our unit. Opening the door with the intention of sharing the box of pizza that I bought along the way home, I freeze in our hallway leading up to the living room when I hear.. was that grunting?

“Unnie, I don’t think I can go any faster,” I hear Seulgi whine, voice tense with effort of whatever it is that she’s doing.

“Come on, Seulgi,” I hear Joohyun-unnie’s voice next, “You can do it. I need you to. Please, just a bit faster.”

More grunting floats to my ears and I didn’t dare move another inch into the living room. Seriously?! What the hell are they doing right here in the open? Can’t they at least keep it to their room? Joohyun-unnie’s room, I mean, because I don’t think I’ll ever sleep soundly knowing that they’ve done things in the room that I share with Seulgi.

I quickly backtrack quietly and leave our unit. Closing the door firmly with the intention of waiting for a few minutes for them to be done. Maybe even text Seulgi that I’m back so they can at least make themselves presentable.

But then, my worst nightmare arrives when I turn around and come face to face with Sooyoung and Yerim looking at me questionably.

“Unnie? Why are you outside?” Sooyoung asks, her brows furrowed in confusion.

I gape at them in alarm as I watch Yerim reach up to unlock the door.

“Wait!” I yell at them and they both freeze and look at me incredulously.

“What is going on, unnie?” Yerim inquires.

“Do you guys want to eat out? My treat!” I ask them in desperation, nudging them away from the door.

Sooyoung looks even more confused, “But you already bought pizza!”

I blink as she points to the pizza box in my arms and I freeze in panic. Just as I’m thinking of a reasonable enough excuse to get them the hell out of here, Yerim opens the door and proceeds to stomp inside our dorm before I can stop her.

I close my eyes and wince, waiting for the inevitable horrified screams of embarrassment and surprise but it never comes.

“Oh, Seungwan-unnie, look! Joohyun-unnie and Seulgi-unnie are making cupcakes! We can eat them after your pizza!” Yerim grins happily and I watch as Seulgi pokes her head out of the kitchen.

“Seungwan bought pizza? Yay!” she grins at me and waves happily while holding a bowl of flour and a spatula.

“Seulgi! Stop talking and mix those!” I hear Joohyun-unnie whine from the kitchen, “I told you to go faster so we’ll be done before anyone else arrives.”

“Oh, right!” Seulgi responds and I see her retreat back to the kitchen.

I feel Sooyoung brush past me, “Unnie, just treat us next time, okay? We’ll eat your pizza and the cupcakes today.”

I blink as I realize my misunderstanding. Seems like I was the only one getting stressed over nothing.

Damn it. I should really get paid for this.
