A Truth So Loud

This little thing has been a WIP since... I want to say last winter? After Bye&Hi but before the girls' debut. It was initially a project I gave myself to stay focused on my school-assigned readings, but I ended up not finishing the book of inspiration or this fic. I still haven't finished, honestly! But this has been sitting in my drafts for far too long, so I'm going to start posting it to kick myself into gear.
This is loosely based off of the novel The City & The City by China Miéville. The premise is as follows: two cities exist in the same geological space, but occupy different sections. These sections can be as clear-cut as whole neighborhoods, but also as precise as different rooms in the same building. These cities consider themselves seperate, and there is a formal process to travel between them. People living in one city are not allowed to acknowledge the other without undergoing said process, and doing so (known as breaching) is considered a crime.
(If by chance anyone has actually read the novel to completion and finds a bunch of disrepancies, I am sorry.)
The cities are very much isolated from the rest of the world, so a citizen of one would only really get a passport to travel to the other. For the purposes of this fic, let's say the age you can apply for a passport is 21. In the same vein, breaching after 21 becomes a very serious offense.
That's probably a lot to take in but I'll try my best to clear up things in the story itself.
Pairings: Yewon x Secret Eunwoo, and other side ships. (I thought I was being slick when I didn't reveal the other person in the first chapter, but now I realize it's pretty obvious, oops.)
