After packing I went downstairs to go get a glass of water. I poured myself a glass and gulped it all down.

"Yeri! Are you done packing?"

"Yes mom."

"Okay meet me in the car when you're ready!"

"Okay."

I heard the door shut close.

I can't believed my mom found a man 3 weeks after the divorcement. 

I washed the cup and went outside to get into the car, but I stopped for a minute to look at the house one last time then sighed.

I opened the door then locked it.

I put my luggage inside the trunk of the car and got inside the passenger seat.

"Ready?"

"Yes."

"Okay let's go!"

Then she drove away. I looked back to see my house fade away from the distance.

"So are you ready to see your new step dad and step son?"

"I guess..."

"Hey are you feeling okay?"

"Yea, just really nervous."

"Don't worry, you will be fine."

"I hope so..."

A few minutes passed we arrived at a huge mansion.

"Woah, this place is huge!"

"It sure is."

We got out of the car. We saw two ladies approching us.

"Hello! Were going to help you carry your bags if you don't mind."

"Oh we don't mind."

While they were carrying our bags we went to go inside the mansion.

Mom rang the doorbell. Then someone opened the door.

"Oh honey you're here!"

The man gave my mom a peck on the lips.

"You must be Yeri!"

"Yes I am."

I hesitated to give him a smile.

"Nice to meet you! I am Mr. Jeon!"

"Well hello Mr. Jeon."

"Let's go inside!"

Me and mom stepped inside.

My jaw dropped from seeing a big living room.

"Dad who is this?"
