Kim Myungsoo is a young author with three books published under his name, but unlike the main characters of his novels who all live exciting and eventful lives, Myungsoo tries to be invisible to the world and rarely ever speaks with another human being. From their very first meeting, Myungsoo's tendency to live in his own little bubble both annoys and intrigues Lee Sungyeol, and Myungsoo struggles to keep a life long held secret hidden when Sungyeol starts forcing the real world on him.
