The city of lumières
A completely fictional metropolis with its own world-renowned entertainment industry and heavy avant-garde culture, it's the place where a nobody goes to be turned into somebody. But, with innovation comes manipulation and mental disintegration; the yang cannot be with the yin. Crime rates are high and the perpetrators blend in with the shadows, the city is littered with professional criminals who are clever and cunning; individuals who either live for the thrill or aren't good at anything else. Our society plays by different rules, with different social norms and constructs.
UN. Please do not add or interact with outsiders while you're here. Have your privacy settings on 'friends of friends.'
DEUX. No double accounts! One character per soul. Character changes are unlimited however, you must wait at least one week in between each CC. Trial CC's are valid for two days at a time.
TROIS. Respect your fellow muns! Refrain from excessive face chasing, shipping, god-modding, and seen zoning.
QUATRE. In the instance of a security check, it is up to you to somehow inform the admins. We will give you 24 hours to notify us and an additional 24 hours to prepare a new account if you wish to come back.
CINQ. Type comprehensible English! Use our SNS format for status updates and mock social media posts, otherwise, all interactions are meant to be happening in person, between characters.
SIX. Separate IC & OOC! Keep all OOC related things in either our designated OOC group or PM. The general news feed is strictly In Character.
SEPT. Tell the admins if you need to go on a hiatus or are leaving the roleplay.
HUIT. This is an AU roleplay so our characters will have no relation to their face claim.
NEUF. You can request to move floors/apartments and change occupations after being active for at least one week.
DIX. Anyone is welcome to host an event, just let the admins know. The password is your superhero name.
ONZE. Do your jobs every so often and act accordingly. E.G. if your character is an aspiring musician then have them avidly try to pursue music or something.
DOUZE. Mature content can be posted anywhere. Anything and everything except for playable character death is permitted.
TREIZE. Single newbies have a one-week relationship ban and that's it. Move-in couples and all ual orientations are welcome! and yuri may be limited, in the future. No mpreg.
QUINZE. Utilize the groups and profile walls! Inactivity for four or more consecutive days will result in being kicked out.
UN. Subscribe to the thread, read through each section and check the master list.
DEUX. Comment with the application form. Your face claim must be at least 18 years old internationally.
TROIS. Once accepted, you have 48 hours to prepare your account. Use a Facebook account with an English name.
QUATRE. Clean your friends' list if necessary. Create a new life event stating that you've moved to Lumieres.
CINQ. Set your alt. name to "animé + face claim" e.g. "animé v"
SIX. PM base with your account link and the admins will add you.
SEPT. Upon arrival, be active! Complete our first activity check and produce some sort of biography within two weeks.
