Houses are like tribes, and each tribe has its own sigil, motto, teachings and responsibilities in servitude of the King. But most of their similar teachings are ones of formalities. You must bow to your lord, or whomever you work for. Even for the commoners who don't live under house laws. And most importantly, you must serve the king, above all else.

1. House Bole
Sigil: Tree, providers of wood for armour
Motto: Act like a man of thought - Think like a man of action.

2. House Kneigh
Sigil: Horse, provider of weapons
Motto: To a real warrior, power perceived may be power achieved.

3. House Phyre
Sigil: Fire, provider of shelter
Motto: Pretend inferiority and encourage their arrogances.

4. House Granit
Sigil: Earth of some sort?, provider of livestocks
Motto: Nothing is so strong as gentleness. Nothing is so gentle as real strength.

5. commoners : THOSE WHO ARE NOT TRUE DESCENDANTS OF THE NOBLE FAMILies, OR HAS BEEN EXILED FROM THEM FOR BREAKING THE RULES. some of the prettiest will be taken to live at handmaiden's quarter, for the noble to take them as servants. servant must obey their master, or will face the consequences.

6. nightwatcher : commoners with special abilities will be taken to fulfill the tradition passed down by generations of these four families to have keepers of the night, who will light the torches around the borders of the city further North. Legends of creatures lurked up there. Though no one’s seen them, just the thought of them was enough to send shivers down the people’s spines. And so, Saker’s Keep dedicates some of these men to the Nightwatchers in order to defend the city. These men have sworn loyalty to the King and to the city. They may not marry or find love. However, deserters are common, though there are still consequences should they be found out. 

But then, if you want to live happily at the saker's keep, you must follow there rules :
1. Serve only the King, above all else, even if the King’s wishes may clash with the wishes of your lord.
2. Obey the orders from those that are higher than yourself. Members of each house must remain loyal to their lord. Any disobedience or conspiracies will have consequences. Choose your actions wisely.
3. , relationships and marriage between members of two families is prohibited. If caught, you will be exiled from the noble house.
4. Thieves will be dealt with by the lord of the family victim of the robbery. Murder is strictly prohibited. Consequences are exile or death.

rules and guidelines

1. strictly No god-modding. Any god-modding will result in a warning, followed by a strikes. Three strikes and you’re out. This includes reading other people’s role plays and taking knowledge you have OOC and making that knowledge IC. If an interaction between two characters is private, your character shouldn’t know about it.
2. Please interact with people of a different social class than you, as well as people from a different family than you. This is a friendly rp, despite the clashes within the plot.
3. IC drama is encouraged. No OOC drama. If there are any disagreements, please try to resolve them politely before coming to admins.
4. Roleplay style is flexible depending on what each person is comfortable with. That being said, lit role plays are encouraged, but aren’t necessary. If you notice someone’s only comfortable role playing short *actions here* role plays, please do adjust to their comfort. We don’t want to intimidate anyone with mass walls of texts. HOWEVER, no one liners within a lit role play, or one worders.
5.  This is a semi-lit, AU role play. No emojis or abbreviations. Any sort of IC drama, conspiracies and the like (that go against the Law, apart from murder being an exception) is encouraged, so long as you’re aware of the consequences if caught. However, there may be loopholes; things being kept a secret, silent threats and the like. Be creative with your excuses. Password is your character’s kinks and turn-ons.
6. Murder is possible if, and ONLY if you wish to kill a character off in order to change to another. No exceptions. That being said, everyone is allowed two characters.
7. Second character is permitted after a month of playing, to avoid losing interest in characters. In addition, if you wish to add a second character, make them different from your first. For example, if your first character is a lord of the House of Bole, make your character a servant in the same, or different house.
8. Be active. At least one post per week, and active replies count. Do not role play in pm’s, as those do not count for activity points.
9. This is an all boys role play, as females are only used for procreation to continue the lineage. That being said, no mpreg is permitted, as it’s rare and close to impossible.
10. This is as far as we could do as admin to provide everyone with places and features you guys would be able work with, so we really encourage people to build their own muse and develop it as far as you can.
11. Last of all, have fun. This is merely role play, and nothing more. Anything that happens within the confines of “In character” is solely for role playing, and nothing personal. Take any insults and the like with a grain of salt.
