Dugeun, dugeun, dugeun.

Your heart pumped rapidly in your chest as you uncurled and curled your fingers into a fist. Adrenaline was coursing through your veins and you tried your hardest to even out your ragged breaths as you waited for your name to be announced. Today was your graduation, the day you finally and officially end college. You were ecstatic and delighted to finally graduate after years of hardwork and struggles and also because you simply couldn't wait to see what the future held for you. 

You were ending another chapter and starting a new one and just the thought of it made you eager but at the same time fearful. And as happy as you were, you couldn't help but feel melancholy as you looked around your surroundings at your classmates, who were also waiting anxiously for their names to be called. Even the most mischievous of your classmates were silent, making you chuckle. Your heart ached as you thought of how each and everyone of you would be going their separate ways. These were the people you spent your 5 years with through the highs and the lows. There were struggles but the people were alongside you, making everything manageable.They meant a lot to you, more than you knew and expressed.

"Now, let us welcome our next graduate, y/n!"

You released a breath you did not know you were holding as you entered the hall. Cheers and claps greeted your ears and flashes of cameras beamed at you as you bowed and walked to your seat, seeing your mother throwing on the waterworks on the way there. You couldn't hold your tears throughout the entire event and you silently cursed at yourself for not thinking of putting on water proof make up earlier.

It was nearly the end as you and your classmates had already received your certificates when your professor ran up the stage and made a late announcement.

"Good evening, everyone! I'm terribly sorry for this sudden notification, believe me, I was shocked myself," he chuckled before continuing,"but there seems to be a special surprise performance for our graduates. Please put your hands together for... BTS!"

Cheers and screams errupted in the entire hall as everyone stood up to greet the members that were getting ready to perform one of their latest hits. Unbelieving, you laughed as you shook your head before deciding to stand and sing along with your classmates. You couldn't help but smile as you recalled what the members said when you asked them if they could go to your graduation, one of them being they had a tight schedule and would just celebrate with you after.

When their performance ended, most of your classmates rushed on stage to get pictures with them. Not wanting to be crushed by them, you decided to pack your things first and meet up with them after. But it seems like they planned to meet you first instead.

Jin came in first, holding a really cute cake as the others followed, clapping and singing for you.

"Y/n-ah! I was the one who thought of buying this cake for you!" Jin exclaimed, laughing as he did his trademark flying kiss.

"MMYAH!" Strong arms wrapped around your waist and you were twirled around, making you squeal. "Congratulations, y/n!" Namjoon ruffled your hair after placing you down, smiling and making those cute dimples of his appear.

Taehyung pushed Namjoon aside after as he jumped on you lightly, making sure not to topple the both of you over and earning disapproving looks from the boys, saying he was too heavy for you. He ignored the others as he grinned and ruffled your hair.

"We're so happy for you!"

"Ah, our y/n's growing up so fast," Jimin faked some tears as he shook his head.

"Yah, Park Jimin, we're the same age!" You laughed. hitting his arm with your bag softly. Jhope decided to play along with Jimin and made ugly sobbing noises as the two boys squeezed the life out of you.

"Yah, yah, yah," Jungkook flicked their heads repeatedly, making the two boys whimper and rub their heads in pain as they released you.

"Let me at least hug her too! You guys have been hogging her since we got here!" Jungkook whined, complaining.

"'Yah'? Are you older than us? Huh? Huuuuuh?" Jhope puffed out his chest and playfully stared down at Jungkook, making Jimin laugh at how ridiculous he looked. The two boys started bickering after, making Jin and Namjoon come over to pull them apart. The only person who hasn't greeted you so far was Yoongi, who was watching you laugh at the others' nonsense.

He couldn't control the smile forming on his face as you laughed, your laughter being one of the most sweetest things he's ever heard. Putting his hands in his pockets, he leaned on the wall and continued watching you, the same smile still lingering on his lips. You finally turned away from the boys, wiping the tears from your eyes from laughing too hard and spotted Yoongi leaning on the wall.

When he noticed you looking at him, he immediately straightened up and dusted off his clothes, waving at you.

You couldn't help but feel soft as you waved back because you've been feeling something for him for quite a while now but kept it to yourself, afraid you would ruin your friendship and him not feelling the same.

"Hi," You smiled warmly, walking over to where he was.

"Hey," He returned the smile, shyly running his hand on the back of his neck.

The boys noticed you two talking and hushed down as Jin ordered Jimin to get to his place.

"Ah,y/n, do you want to see magic?"

"Magic?" You repeated, chuckling before nodding.

Smiling, he waved his arms around before suddenly pulling out a red rose from nowhere. No, not really nowhere, because he did it so poorly, you noticed that he pulled it out from his sleeve. Winking, he smiled his gummy smile as he handed you the flower.

"Waaaaah!" You pretended to be shocked, laughing as you took the flower from his hand. You could feel your cheeks warm up as you tried your hardest not to laugh at how adorable he looked.

He rolled his eyes at you but couldn't help but smile as he said,"There's one more."

"Hm?" 

Jimin quickly walked past behind him, handing him a small box which Yoongi quickly took before placing it in front of you. Tears started b your eyes once again for the umpteenth time that day and you laughed, taking the box in your hands as you tried to cover up your face.

"You guys... you didn't have to, really! The performance, the cake, the presents, really, your presence here tonight is already enough," You sniffed, wiping your eyes on your sleeve before chuckling.

"Now I must look terrible with my make up running everywhere because of you guys!"

"Actually, you look rather nice like that," Taehyung commented before snickering, earning slaps on the head from the other members.

"Anything for our midget," Jin smiled.

"Y/n, I have something to tell you," Yoongi said, suddenly looking nervous as he cleared and looked at anywhere but your eyes.

"I.. uh.." He fiddled with his fingers and you couldn't help but smile at how cute he was being.

"Mhmmmmmmm?" You pressed, leaning in closer and smiling.

"I.. like spending time with you in my studio and sharing the things I don't usually like sharing with my members with you and I love eating with you and basically being with you and oh, did I mention how much I love eating your home cooked meals? And I was wondering if you could keep cooking home cooked meals for me from now as my girlfriend and of course, I'd cook for you too I just-"

"Yoongi-ah!" You interrupted him, laughing as you raised an eyebrow. "Did you just ask me out?"

"Yes? No? Yes? I don't know-"

Rolling your eyes, you jumped on him and wrapped your arms around him in happiness. His arms s around your waist as you wrapped your legs around him.

"Yes," you breathed, smiling from ear to ear as you pulled away slightly to look at him. With a smile mirroring yours, he gently placed a lock of fallen hair behind your ear.

."Y/n-ah."

"Hmmm?"

"Can you get off now? You're getting heavier."

"Yah!"
