OT7, original character x jimin (kinda)

heavily inspired by studio ghibli's work because honestly they're out of this world wonderful. mostly spirited away, but there might be hints of nausicaa of the valley of the wind (favorite movie of all time, btw), howl's moving castle and my neighbour totoro as well simply because they all have impacted me in such a way that must have affected my writing during this. i wouldn't call this a spirited away au since it's... not? but it's damn well near it.

it'd be wonderful if you listened to the music i've linked as you read, it'll make the experience 10x better, trust me (mainly because it's studio ghibli soundtracks and that is magical). the text contains some references to some of the song names as well (the most obvious being One Summer's Day as it's the title of this fanfic). have fun spotting them.

i hope i achieved the atmosphere i was going for (i think it's still kind of lacking in places) but even if i didn't, i still hope you find the story worth reading.

this is the first story i've finished in a long while, so i'm pretty excited and proud about it. if you knew how many abandoned projects i have in my google drive, you'd probably be shocked (there's approximately 90 documents in there, so like 60-80 aren't finished? yeah). maybe someday i can finish stuff more than once a year? one can hope.
