Five girls were sprawled on the cozy carpet of their small living room, each with her own cup of hot chocolate; no one’s minding the other’s business as each was busy minding her own.  Outside, it’s as if it was raining cotton balls. One by the one, the dainty cotton balls drop, covering the entire lawn. It is winter once again – the season that either makes your heart warm or makes your eyes cry.

                One of the girls stood up and made her way to get the speakers. “The silence is killing me,” the girl said as she plugs her phone to the speaker.

                “Kim Ye-rim, you better not play those music where you just wanna head bang. I’m memorizing my lines for Music Bank tomorrow.” Another girl named Joo-hyun, in a high ponytail with a highlighter and a scrunched expression on her face, said.

                “I’m also memorizing my lines for the drama so watch that speaker if you don’t want that broken.” A girl with short hair added.

                Ye-rim just rolled her eyes as she pressed the shuffle button on her phone and walked back to her place on the carpet.

                Four pairs of eyes instantly stared at the short-haired girl – all filled with worry and concern. The short-haired girl put her script booklet down and sighed as she stood up, her expression unreadable.

                “Soo-yeong, where are you going?” Another girl, Seul-gi, who was watching a Korean drama on her phone before the song in the speaker played, asked.

                Soo-yeong walked briskly to her room as if someone’s running after her. “I’m tired from memorizing. I’ll sleep first. Don’t wake me up,” she said quickly that the other girls almost didn’t understand.

                “What the hell, Ye-rim? Why is that song still on your phone?” Seul-gi snapped.

                “I’ve always loved their song but I didn’t know it’ll play!” Ye-rim defended herself. Joo-hyun put down her cue cards and sighed as she unplugged the phone from the speaker so that the song will stop playing out loud.

                “We told you to delete that already after we all did. Remember our ‘no We Got Married’ rule?” A redhead, Seung-hwan, said as she munches on a cupcake. “Which means no one can mention Sung-jae, no one can watch We Got Married while Soo-yeong is around, and no one can make her hear their song.”

                “I’m sorry, okay! I’ll delete the song from my phone now.” Ye-rim was almost in the verge of tears. Although it wasn’t her fault, she felt so bad.

                “Let’s just do our best to cheer her up later when she wakes up, okay?” Joo-hyun said as she picked up her cue cards again and continued to highlight.
