THE RUSH OF MY HEART HUSHES THE SILENCE OF THE DARK
Even before the dead of Winter, the soggy humidity of Summer leaves the air as the leaves change color and fall to the ground. All Hallow's Eve brings spirits from the Other Side, gives a newly found confidence to the monsters lurking on Earth. They come out, and they yearn for a playmate, for someone to drink youth and thrill from. Playmates aren't at all hard to find, but keeping them is the very problem that these dear monsters face each year. Weak-hearted humans are no longer the answer — instead they must find monster counterparts, ones who can ease their yearning with the temptation of their very touch, their very dance, their kiss. And the moon lingers on longer as if the sun doesn't want to reach the sky.

Hello, this is Jelly, new applyfic author. This is probably going to be a shorter story, maybe 20 or so chapters. If the prologue above was confusing in any way, this story is about the monsters of Seoul, and how they're coming out to play since summer has ended and they feel much more comfortable lurking in the coldness when the sun rises later and the moon rises earlier. They will choose six new playmates this year, none human, which will be the chosen applicants. Then mischief will ensue. I was inspired by too much American Horror Story and too many replays of BTS's new album. Hah. I hope you enjoy!
