it is said that the savior of the planet of gaia will be revealed when the clock strikes after the first hour and minute of the chosen one's nineteenth year. the savior is said to be the resolution to all of the land's problems including conflict, disease, and imbalance. they will also unite the four elements of the land by choosing four knights that best represent each practice; together they are to help bring peace to the world and are expected to continue to fight against the forces of such evils in the world for the safety of the people of gaia for as long as they live. 

thus, every year until the chosen one is revealed, all nations within gaia hold a special ceremony for all children that are due to turn nineteen within the new year: there, the entire community waits together to witness one of the tributes to emit a small beam of light from their chest, signifying their fate as the savior and marking the beginning of their never ending journey to fight for peace for the doomed planet. while the tradition brings much excitment to the tribes of the four elements, it also brings much strife when no child is shown to be the savior the land needs, thus the feelings of distress and impatience for the prophet's appearance increases and inevitably politics turn into fights which then evolve into wars and chaos slowly takes reign over all hope for gaia's existence.

but on the first day of the year 2020, after the first hour and minute have passed, there is an eerie silence over the crowd who watch those in the ceremony held in the city of aiolos. while the sky up above is still dark and faintly lit by stars, there is a soft glow in the middle of the square where the tribute children stand awaiting their fate. no one dares to utter a word as the light continues to brighten within the chosen one but all share the same look of concern on their faces at the surprise of the chosen savior of gaia.

for the savior— the aether amongst the inhabitants of gaia— is just a lowly servant of royalty and their tear streaked face, rigid body kneeling pitifully on the ground does not fully begin to convey the amount of anxiety and worry they have to accept this fate, let alone seek out their knights to unify and save the world from peril from itself.
