Foreword

 

Wonwoo's eyes caught a glimpse of red from his left hand, and he did a double look without thinking.

 

There, in his small finger, was a bold red thread, vivid and distinct, glaring at him.

 

All this time the string was faint, hardly seen even under the sunlight, but now the red was so obvious almost like it’s taunting Wonwoo, reminding him that it’s there, not just a fragment of public lies, it’s there and it’s true and he had a soulmate.

Chapter 2: Hiii. Yes to the a/n btw. And this is unrelated but theres a video game for cats that I just put my cat to play with, n the red tie on the background reminded me of it I had to laugh. Haha ok ill be serious now.

So red string as soulmates symbol is usual but give it to nicorobin to make it extraordinary. I love the aftermath of meetng soulmate actually brings a physical pain bcs then instead of ignoring it, u have no choice but to neeeedd ur soulmate. This is brilliant!
Theres a book i read last year n theres a line that I remember. So they were going on a first date, but they ended up getting food poisoning so they cant move n have to stay locked up in the apartment together for days. The line goes like "its a way more intimate than to get to know someone after seeing each other puking and sick face". I imagine itll be like that for these two. Being both sick n have to rely with e/o is..kind of a good way to connect..
