ISOTHEOS IS A GREEK MYTHOLOGY THEMED ROLEPLAY, CREATED FOR THOSE ENAMOURED WITH GREEK LORE AND ITS FANTASTICAL WHIMS, WHO HOLD NO RESERVATIONS ON SEEING THEIR BELOVED HISTORICAL TALES PLAYED OUT IN A CURRENT SETTING. FEW THINGS COME CLOSE TO 'FANTASTIC' WHEN GAINING ENTRANCE TO ONE OF DIONYSUS'S PRESTIGIOUS PARTIES IS INVOLVED. OR WATCHING ALEXANDER THE GREAT (WHO CURRENTLY HOLDS THE POSITION OF NUMBER ONE ACHILLES FANBOY) RALLY YOUNG TEENAGE BOYS FOR A QUESTIONABLE NOBLE CAUSE. OF COURSE, THESE ARE ONLY MERE SPECULATIONS OF WHAT IS TO COME, BUT IF THIS IDEA STRIKES A CHORD WITH YOU THEN YOU ARE HEREBY INVITED TO TAKE A PLUNGE INTO A LIFE ESTABLISHED ON HELLENISTIC ALLURE MINGLED WITH A MODERN TOUCH, ONE THAT ONLY ADDS TO THE MAGIC AND MACABRE THE GREEK HEROES AND FIGURES OF LORE HAVE BESTOWED UNTO US.

003 // THIS IS A GREEK MYTHOLOGY THEMED ROLEPLAY. you should know ABOUT YOUR CHOSEN CHARACTER before roleplaying. BIOGRAPHIES WILL BE VERY HANDY since there are always different versions of the same myth, SO WE SUGGEST YOU CREATE ONE.
004 // following the previous guideline, we accept all characters from greek mythology; mortals, gods, demi-gods, nymphs, monsters etc. give your creativity free rein! however, please try to choose faceclaims that are compatible with the image of the character you choose to roleplay. (e.g. apollo is known for being a beardless youth. using willie robertson from duck dynasty as his faceclaim would be unrealistic).

008 // in the case of RELATIONSHIPS, there is a DATING BAN of A WEEK. MARRIAGE is allowed AFTER TWO MONTHS and MOVING COUPLES ARE FINE. however, use discretion when getting involved in a relationship, keeping the image of your chosen figure in mind. plotted relationships are also fine.
009 // activeness: 3-4 times a week at least. inactivity for two weeks results in expulsion from the roleplay.
010 // if you have to be away in the forseeable future, be sure to give the admins a heads up. this is helpful in the case of a hiatus or a departure as it helps the admins with keeping track of the members.

e.g. Thanatos is from the greek pantheon, and is considered the embodiment of death. he is the son of erebos and nyx and twin to hypnos. usually obershadowed by hades, he differs from him. for while hades is the god of the dead, thanatos is the god of death, he is oft associated with peaceful death and his symbols are poppies, butterflies, an inverted torch and a sword. possibly the most soft punk person you ever had the pleasure of meeting.
