Their lips met softly at first. A gentle brush, shy in nature. Their relationship started out as close friends. They got along well, did a lot of things together. It helped that they were bandmates; lived together in the same dorm. Ren thought it was almost inevitable that they grew closer together and started dating. It was in secret of course, not that he minded. They both knew what would happen if they weren’t careful. The last thing they wanted was for word to get out that they were dating and to have their whole careers ruined because they were gay.

Never wanting to get far, they kept their relationship sweet. Small touches, stolen glances and slight pecks. But today was different. Something about today was different and being together felt so much better. So amazing.

“Ren.” Minhyun whispered softly, staring at him. “Are you sure we should do this?” he asked softly. Ren stared at him and smiled, cupping the older man’s cheek gently, it gently with his thumb.

“I’m sure.” he whispered gently and his lips. “I love you Minhyun. I want to do this with you.” he said gently. He pulled Minhyun close and kissed his lips once more. It was different this time, harder, more certain. The love he felt for Minhyun was overflowing and he knew, in that moment, he would do anything to keep the other with him, for the rest of his life. This was his soul mate. His one true love.

And as their lips moved together in unison, he felt himself falling in love all over again.
