Winterberry [DISCONTINUED]Jinhoo’s hand was cold. Wooshin frowned as he held the older’s left one. He glanced at the sleeping man, who looked more like a vulnerable boy at that moment. He looked back at the hand and hesitantly brought it to his lips, blowing hot breaths on them whilst rubbing them to provide the lacking heat.
His eyes glazed over Jinhoo’s figure. The latter’s face had a few scars and purplish bruises. His hands and the rest of his body had it worst though. Wooshin hated it. God does he hate seeing Jinhoo in that vulnerable state. To hold his cold hands, desperate to see the warm smiles appear on his face again. Wooshin realized he was crying. Was he that in love? It doesn’t matter, he thought.
“But please…” he murmured as more tears drop.
“Wake up soon.”

Jinhoo nervously pulled the blankets further up his shoulders. He was happy Wooshin cared to ask, but he knew better. He knew how Wooshin felt about him. So he finally decided to voice his thoughts.
“Why would you care? I thought you hate me.” No. Wooshin didn’t want Jinhoo to think that way. “That’s not true!” he cried. Jinhoo stayed silent. “B-but… you’re right… I don’t have the right to ask.” Feeling guilty, the older was about to say something, but Wooshin beat him to it. “And I’m so sorry. I want to ask for another chance. Please? I know this is all my fault and I know I messed up,” he apologized. “But I… I realized something. I realized how I felt about you. Jinhoo, I know this is the tiest place to say this… but I…”
“I love you.”
Jinhoo sat there with his lips slightly parted. Wooshin was looking down and he could see the younger’s tears wet the white sheets. “Wooshin?”
