The 5 keys of Destruction and Reclamation (UNDER RECONSTRUCTION)
Description
After the Third World War, all life on Earth was exterminated. The desolated planet was left to itself, no one who would care enough to reclaim it. But one day, the Five Families appeared. Holding great powers, they rescued the Earth, and life on it began to thrive again. They gave life to the deserts and technology to the primitives. Then, one day, they disappeared.
Some said an evil power got the better of the Five Families. Others, that they were no longer needed. No one, however, could tell the truth. What everyone knew was simply that they were gone, leaving five of their sons behind, hidden. And now, after seventeen years, the evil forces have returned.
And they’re looking for the Five Keys of Destruction and Reclamation.
Foreword
A small cry was heard. The scream of a woman in her dying bed, a group of twelve boys surrounding her
"Take care of your younger brother, please protect him." said the weak woman
"I’ll protect him. We will, all of us. Don’t worry, mom, just be fine, okay?” one of the elder children choked, taking her hand in his own.
The mother smiled, squeezing the boy’s hand. "l trust you. Take care and search for the other children. Promise me?”
"Promise. Now rest, okay? Don’t tire yourself too much.” he managed to talk, voice much higher and more broken than he had meant it to be. He tightened his grip on her hand, rubbing its back with his thumb. “Just rest a little and you’ll be fine, okay?”
The woman’s lips trembled, tears running down her cheeks. She held the boy’s hand close to her chest, each movement coming with great pain in her expression.
"I love you all. All of you, I- I love you so- so much. Be strong, okay? All of you. Mommy will miss you.”
When she stopped breathing, the newborn wailed.
17 years later
"Hey, wake up, you’ll be late for school, baby"
The sleeping blond groaned, pulling the covers over his head
"Five more minutes." he murmured, voice thick with sleepiness.
The other male laughed and pulled the covers off, leaving the second to shout and sit up rapidly.
"Nope. Up, now."
"Okay, okay, I’m up." the blond grumbled, leaving for the bathroom. The elder watched him from behind, smiling fondly as he stumbled all over the room and almost walked into the wall.
You’re all grown up, but you’re still so fragile. We’ll never stop needing to protect you, eh?
He laughed when Hyukjae yelled and a thud came from the bathroom, followed by some mumbled cursing. He shouted a quick question and the younger grumbled his “I’m fine, I’m fine.” from the other room.
Don’t worry, mom. We’re still protecting him. I hope you’re happy, wherever you are.
