Should old acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
And days of auld lang syne.
For auld lang syne, my Jo,
For auld lang syne,
We'll take a cup of kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

She felt him touch her face.
She had fallen asleep watching the award show that he was attending.
He had looked awkward and nervous for the better part of the show. So many years of being in the industry, but the crowds always made him feel lost and scared. It always made her worry a little, every time he had to attend public events. Because just like her, he reflected on the tiniest thing more than required, making him sad or low.
She had fallen asleep worrying all about it. And him.
She opened her eyes, to find him sitting beside her on the bed, gently playing with her hair.
"You're back... How was it?" She asked sleepily smiling at him.
He had taken off his jacket and vest coat, clad in his crisp white shirt and dress trousers, looking handsome as ever.
Seeing him in formals, black or white, always made her heart skip a beat or two.
He exhaled a long breathe. "It was tiring. Too crowded."
"Why the long face?" She asked, sitting up, touching his somewhat worried face, feeling a little scared.
"Did you see my acceptance speech?"
She nodded.
"People are saying that it was too short...And that I didn't deserve the award," he sighed looking forlorn.
Her heart dropped down to her stomach seeing his face. She cupped his face. "Yah.. don't even think that way. You've worked so hard this year. And you deserve that award more than anyone else."
He looked into her eyes, doubt evident on his face. He looked tired and sad.
She leaned forward and pulled him into a hug. "Aigoo. Why would they say something like that. These people, they get so mean without any reason or rhyme. Don't worry. Don't think about them. You should be happy.. it has been a good year, hasn't it? You've given your best, Jong Suk-ah" she crooned into his ear, his hair. "Don't listen to what they say. Don't read about them. They'll stop it soon enough and forget all about it."
He nodded and held on to her tighter, as she breathed a sigh of relief. He held on to her, and whispered, "Thank you."
She pulled back to look at his face. "Did you eat? Are you hungry?"
He shook his head. "Not hungry..." He played with a strand of her hair. "It's too late. Do you have to go back tonight?"
She smiled, knowing by the tone of his voice that he didn't want her to go. "I wasn't planning on going back." She said with a tiny shiver. "It's too cold!"
He hissed, as he pushed her back under the covers. "Get back inside the blankets. You have the award show tomorrow too. Can't catch a cold."
"Are you sure you're not hungry?" She asked again
