Hansol Vernon Choi was just a young gay prince in Korea. It was a time where arranged marriage was common and at sixteen years old, Hansol knew his time would be coming soon. He was scared because he didnt want his secret to be known by anyone. Hansol seemed like a normal prince to anyone who saw him, but at midnight he was a vampire. It happened a long time ago when he was a young kid. He was outside at night one Halloween when he was suddenly bitten by a bat. He didnt really think anything of it, but the next night at midnight was when he felt changes to himself. He had grown fangs and his skin went pale. He wanted to fly outside so he transformed as a bat and flew away to explore. When he saw a person, he bit them then flew away. He knew he would have to be home before morning came or else he would die. That was life for Hansol now. A royal prince by day, a vampire by night. 

One day Hansol was getting dressed in his best dress clothes because he was about to meet the prince he was going to marry. He was excited yet very nervous. Excited because he was not allowed to date and would finally be able to be with a cute boy but nervous because he did not want to lose control and bite his new husband. Plus letting his secret out. "Hansol get down here they're here!" Hansol's mom called to him. Hansol straightened up his tie and looked into the mirror to make sure he looked good then headed downstairs only to see a beautiful prince that made his eyes go wide. "Hansol, this is Prince Joshua" Hansol's mom said. "It is very nice to meet you Prince Hansol" Joshua said in a poilite soft spoken tone as he bowed to Hansol. "It's nice to meet you too Joshua" Hansol said as he bowed back. "Why dont you two go along to get to know each other" Joshua's mom said. "I agree, the boys need time together" Hansol's mom said in agreement. The boys said goodbye to their parents then headed out

                                                                                        A FEW WEEKS LATER

Hansol and Joshua had gotten along very nicely and had fallen in love. The wedding was weeks away and the boys had been getting their outfits together and practicing their vows to each other. Hansol loved Joshua more than anything else in the world. He had never been in love but now Joshua had stolen his heart. He had done a good job at keeping his secret from Joshua but he was worried he wouldnt be able to keep it for long once they started to have . They didnt have yet but that was Hansol's biggest concern, having at night. He felt like he had to tell Joshua his secret but he was scared how Joshua would react. He also figured maybe if they had and went to sleep before midnight he would be fine but he knw that would be pushing it. Hansol decided to just wait it out and perhaps try to think of what he would do

One night Joshua and Hansol went to bed. It was around midnight where Hansol felt himself transforming again so he quickly got off the bed to be away from Joshua as he transformed. "AH~!" Hansol shrieked and made many noises as he did every night he transformed. "Hansol?" Joshua called out as he woke up from the loud sounds and noises Hansol was making. Hansol gasped and Joshua saw him from the light by the moon since the lights were off. "Hansol its not Hallween yet why are you in a costume?" Joshua giggled as he turned the light on but as soon as he did, Hansol was out the window in his bat formation. "Holy ..." Joshua said to himself. All he did was go back to sleep 

The next day Hansol and Joshua were eating breakfast when Hansol noticed something was off about Joshua. "Joshua are you ok?" Hansol asked, not remembering anything from the night before. "Hansol..what happened last night?" Joshua asked. "What? Nothing happened last night. What kind of thing would happen?" Hansol asked nervously. He forgot about Joshua seeing him. "Hansol are you a vampire!?" Joshua asked suddenly and Hansol's eyes went wide. "What? Of course not! What would give you that idea?" Hansol asked as he felt sick to his stomach. "Dont deny it Hansol I saw you in transformation" Joshua said. "Joshua you're crazy Im not a vampire, you must have just dreamed it" Hansol said as he nervously laughed it off. Joshua didnt say anymore because he had a plan thought out 

Later that night Hansol and Joshua were in bed when Hansol got out of bed to be by the window since it was close to midnight. Little did he know though, Joshua was awake. Hansol began to transform and Joshua sat up to watch. "Hansol!" Joshua called out to Hansol as he trasformed. Hansol saw Joshua looking into his red eyes. "ITS VERNON!" Hansol shouted as he was now transformed completely as a vampire. His vampire name was Vernon. Vernon hesitated whether to bite Joshua or not, but Hansol was able to control himself not to so he opened the window and Joshua quickly got out of bed to stop Hansol but it was too late. Vernon had already turned to a bat and flew out the window so Joshua saw him flying away outside

The next day when Joshua and Hansol were having breakfast, Joshua decided to confront Hansol. "Hansol you need to tell me whats going on with you..." Joshua said in concern. "Joshua..its very hard to explain..." Hansol said darkly. "Please Hansol.." Joshua pleaded and Hansol sighed. "Ok Joshua..when I was a kid, I was bitten by a vampire bat on halloween night..so now ever since that...I too have become a vampire..I transform every midnight until morning and Ive been this way ever since.." Hansol confessed. "Well you're still my husband and I will never leave your side Hansol" Joshua said as he went over to Hansol and hugged him but Hansol pushed him off "Im dangerous Joshua...when Im Vernon, Im evil..." Hansol said sadly as he started to cry. "But..I love you Hansol..I dont care if you're some vampire at night..you're my loving husband and thats all that matters"  Joshua said as he wiped Hansol's tears away which made Hansol smile. "I love you Joshua" Hansol said lovingly and Joshua kissed him. "I love you too Hansol" Joshua said in the kiss. "I...I think Im ready.." Joshua confessed softly. "I do too Joshua..should we?" Hansol asked and Joshua nodded. "Lets go my prince" Joshua said as he took Hansol's hand and lead him to the bedroom

Later that night it was about ten minutes to midnight and Hansol was in the bedroom but Joshua was not home. Even though they were both sixteen, their families had gotten them a house to live in together near their houses. Hansol kept trying to call Joshua but he would not answer his phone. He wanted to kiss Joshua once more before he yet again transformed into Vernon. However Joshua suddenly came into their room with a cloth bag. "Oh Joshua thank goodness you're here!" Hansol said as went over to Joshua and hugged him tightly. "Whats in the bag?" Hansol asked. "I cant tell you right now" Joshua said. "Well ok.." Hansol said and it became midnight. Hansol quickly ran away from Joshua to go to the window as his transformation began. Joshua just stayed where he was to watch until Vernon was there. Vernon tried to open the window but it was locked. "OPEN THE WINDOW HUMAN" Vernon screamed at Joshua. Joshua was scared but he took out a gem necklace from his bag. "Come here Vernon~" Joshua said as he slowly went close to Vernon. Vernon bolted towards and tackled Joshua to the floor and attempted to bite Joshua's neck, but Joshua kept hitting him in the face. "NO I WILL NOT BITE YOU" Hansol managed to get out but of course was over powered by Vernon. Joshua had the necklace in his hand but he had to somehow get it around Hansol's neck. "LET ME ING BITE YOU HUMAN!" Vernon screamed as he pinned down Joshua's arms and went for his neck. Joshua was able to kick Vernon off himself and tackle him. He quickly put the necklace around Vernon's neck then ran to the bed. "AH! NO~! AH WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" Vernon screamed as he fell to the floor. He shook and screamed as the necklace lit up. Joshua saw a white smokey figure come out of Hansol then saw Hansol pass out. 

After a few minutes, Joshua got of the bed and slowly approached Hansol. He got onto his knees and turned Hansol onto his back. He looked normal again. Joshua took the necklace off, picked up Hansol and carried him to their bed. After a little while, Hansol woke up and was confused at where he was as he looked around. "J-Joshua..? what happended..?" Hansol asked confusedly. "Ill tell you in the morning. Right now I just want you to go to sleep" Joshua said softly as he Hansol's hair. "A-Alright.." Hansol said as he layed back down and Joshua cuddled with him and they fell asleep

The next morning Joshua had explained everything. The necklace that he had used was a way to rid a vampire out of someone, as he explained his little brother Samuel experienced the same thing so he had the necklace ever since ridding Samuel of it. 

                                                                                                                    A FEW WEEKS LATER

It was Hansol and Joshua's wedding day. They had walked the aisle and were saying their vows to each other. "Joshua...for the past month you have changed my life completely...in fact you literally saved my life...you have been the best person in my life and I love you with all my heart..Im happy now and happy that I will now be marrying the love of my life.." Hansol said as his tears began to spill. "Hansol I am happy I met you. Because of you I am a much happier person than I used to be. I dont care if I only have known you for a month because to me it feels like I have known you for a very long time and I am very happy to be your husband and have you as my husband..I love you Hansol Choi" Joshua said sincerely. After the pastor said the usual wedding things, the two put the rings on each other's fingers then shared a long loving and passionate kiss. What seemed like hours was only a few moments but they didnt care, Joshua and Hansol were in love now and happily married
