As Hyukjae was settling into his new life as a college student, it was that time of the week when he was about to catch up with his favorite manga. Hyukjae felt like it was a silly thing to wait impatiently week after week for the latest chapter of a manga series he had practically grown up with. Sure, it had fallen under the "girl's romance" category in its maiden homeland and reading about the hinted romance between the main character and her best friend had been an exhausting trip and a half over “will they or won't they?” plots that dragged on for years. But, for some reason during his many years of reading and getting to know the characters, he had felt that there was something hidden about her best friend. Something not anyone would particularly catch but Hyukjae felt it. That revelation was one that was to lead to a mystifying turn of events in his life when the door to his dorm room opened one night.
