Kai sighed reading over the text. It wasn’t what he meant. He was happy to read about being loved, but he wanted it to be more than a friendship sorta loved. Before Kai could think over a proper reply, Kyungsoo had already text him several times.

Kai stared at his phone, him and Kyungsoo had never talked about this stuff, and it’s not like they hadn’t dated others, but nothing really worked out.

Kai found himself curling into a ball under his blanket, hugging a pillow, he didn’t even notice doors clicking open. That was until someone pulled at his blanket.

“Kai, it’s cold” Kyungsoo whined. Kai sighed, lifting up the blanket for Kyungsoo to climb in. Kyungsoo happily climbed in and snuggled into Kai.
“Warm~” Kyungsoo sighed out of happiness. Kai just sighed, arms automatically wrapping around Kyungsoo’s waist and pulling him a little closer. Then there was just silence between them until Kyungsoo sighed, shuffling around until he was on eye level with Kai.

“So, would you like to confess your undying love now, or hold it off for a little bit?” Kyungsoo asked, breaking the silence. Kai didn’t really know what to say so he just stayed quiet and stared at Kyungsoo. He hadn’t been this close to Kyungsoo in years, but he didn’t mind in the least , Kyungsoo was as beautiful, and the main difference was that Kyungsoo looked older, in a good way. Without even thinking Kai cupped Kyungsoo’s face and pulled him into a chaste kiss, Kyungsoo easily kissing back, smirking as the kiss broke.
“I love you undyingly~” Kai giggled.
“Part of me wants to slap you and the other part is busy screaming happily.” Kyungsoo sighed, pressing his forehead to Kai’s. Kai smiled happily.

“So...wanna date?” Kai asked. Kyungsoo just laughed, bringing Kai in for another chaste kiss, and giggled as it broke.

“I’d love to, because I love you too” Kyungsoo smiled. Kai tried to hide it, but he ended up squealing and hugging Kyungsoo tighter than necessary.

“K-Kai..can’t...b-b-breath” Kyungsoo managed.

“Oh sorry…” Kai mumbled, loosening his grip. Kyungsoo smiled kissing the tip of Kai’s nose before snuggling in.

“Now sleep” Kyungsoo sighed.
“I love you, Kyungsoo” Kai giggled.

“I love you too, Jongin~” Kyungsoo replied, drifting off to sleep. Kai smiled happily, managing to get to sleep, and from then Kyungsoo made sure to be in Kai’s bed, to help him sleep.
