Background: I was born in Kwangju, South Korea and I moved to Philippines when I was 5, then my mom decided to move to America. I came from a very typical Asian family; they expected good grades, no boyfriend until I'm much older, studies first, no fooling around, etc. My dad is full Korean while my mom is Filipina. My grandmother was the one who named me, but everyone calls me Angel, it's easier that way. I always go to South Korea or Philippines every summer or during the holidays. But I never got to learn either of the languages. Although I know more Korean (hangul) than Tagalog.
